He flagged so many things that were in place when we bought the house (and should have been flagged at that time). Very inconsistent in the work. He also didn't note issues to our roof that another company said had been going on for years before we bought it. Very displeased. Please look elsewhere when looking for a home inspector and save yourself the trouble.

Essentially the gutter terminates between the back of the brick and front of the sheeting. The top brick row was never flashed appropriately and the end cap dripped rotting all the exterior sheeting in the vicinity. We reached out to him as his inspection report asks on page two that says if we find something we feel should have been caught on the inspection and wasn't we need to contact him before reaching out to a contractor for repairs. Thus far we have heard nothing! As a "trained" inspector I would have thought seeing, and noting in the report, moss and discolored brick on the front brick facade would have resulted in deeper investigation. Nope not with Andy, his inspection fee found a clouded window. Thanks! I would avoid this company at all cost!!! This is a multi thousand dollar oversight on Andy's part.

I am moving to the Appleton area from out of town and am in process of purchasing a house from a…read morefamily member who was recently widowed, and wanted to get it inspected to make sure i understood what i was getting into and to help understand the different home systems (very different heating needs from Washington DC area). Not having a real clue about who to go with I called several different home inspectors, but Mark was the quickest to get back to me and very accommodating with my schedule needs so I went with him. I am very glad I did. He showed up right at the planned time, and spent a lot of time with me patiently answering all my questions, going all over the outside of the property, up on the roof, in the attic, opening electrical boxes, explaining each system in the house, and thoroughly going over each room. He took pictures of all the issues he found and i got a great report with notes and pictures for anything that he suggested addressing. This was very helpful as it is hard to remember everything that gets pointed out or exactly what it looks like. It was a pleasure working with Mark and I would highly recommend him to anyone else who is looking to get their home inspected.
