Do yourself a favor and schedule a massage with Alex. She'll change your life a little bit. Or more likely, a lot. This is *not* go through the motions massage. She'll ask you what you're looking for before she gets started and from there, she really listens to and reacts to your body. If she finds a spot that needs work, she'll stick with it. She doesn't just spend the obligatory couple of minutes and move on. There aren't robes or cucumber water, but when the massage is this good, you don't need fluffy distractions.

I have been coming for a massage monthly for some time now. Over two years of monthly membership. I…read morealways look forward to my massages. I am doing another update considering what recently happened. A month ago I had an appointment. I got a call from Spavia that my masseuse was not going to be able to make the appointment. We were able to set up a quick appointment for that weekend. That day came around and I got a call a couple hours before the appointment. The new masseuse had an emergency was wasn't going to be able to make it. This wasn't the norm and they were happy to offer additional changes to try and make up for the situation. It was really nice for them to offer the options that they did. They say this doesn't happen often and felt bad. Here is the normal massage breakdown. Warmed massage tables call my name on a cold Iowa evening. Darkened hallways start to set the mood. Electric candles line the floor to help guide you to where you need to be. Once you are in the locker room you can change into your robe and slippers. This is not required with every service they offer. You have your own locker which you set the lock. They have 2 little curtained off changing rooms. The wall hooks have broken over time, but if I can I just use the roomy bathroom to change. Once you have all your personal items locked away you can step into the lounging area. 4-5 different places to sit. Electric fireplace on the wall. Some books, gentle music, little water fountain. All the things to help you relax. They have warming neck wraps and hot water for tea. If you are early enough for your appointment, then take advantage and chill. When your time comes you get called back. My personal preference is one individual for body massages. I have to book months in advance to make sure I am getting him. I dont want to share, but its Eddy. He is amazing. He listens to me and remembers my preferences. After heavenly treatment you are escorted back to the lounge. You can hang out and decompress or you can head out. As of my last visit in Sept '24 they just updated the furniture in there. It is not really comfy as before. I have tried another service here, but prefer my monthly membership booking a massage each time. Read less

The gloves she wore irritated my skin. Her hands shook, like she was scared to touch me. They obviously have an esthetician doing body work, instead of a massage therapist. She never even touched my lower back or glutes and she accidentally poked my vagina twice during draping. The company called to say they would like to make it up to me, but when I called back the manager was out so I left a message and she never called back. Avoid this place.

No one ever called. 3rd appointment I bust my butt to get across town fighting rush hour traffic & construction to get there early as they require, only to walk in & be told I'm not on the schedule. No one called to cancel, no one called to make things right etc. I would strongly advise against going to this particular one & I would strongly advise against buying a membership!

She commented on how tight my shoulders were and spent so much time working it out. Amazing. Mia checked in from time to time on the pressure. She was very attentive to what I needed. The only drawback is that the kitchen of the Mexican restaurant next door shares a common wall. It got pretty noisy with voices and the tenderizing of meat.
