We called ahead and scheduled a time to pick up the wheel chair from their location a half hour drive from Naples (delivery is possible as well, but we rented an SUV which allowed for easy transport.) The chair itself had two removable buoyant arm rests and the whole thing folded in half. The arm rests combined with the three large air filled wheels made it possible to push the chair on loose sand and then straight into the water where our Dad could enjoy the waves. The chair had no problem transitioning from the water to the sand and back, and our Dad is 6'3". Thanks to the chair we were able to visit many of the beaches near Naples with ease. If you're in the area and are looking to provide the opportunity for someone with limited mobility to enjoy the beach AND the water then look no further than Beach Bum Rentals. Holly, the owner, was very responsive, accommodating, and kind. We hope to do business with her in the future.

I looked around and noticed that none of the other rental companies had this specific chair - lounge chair so you can lay flat. Not only did Sun-Seats have it, but the price was fantastic. Our flight landed on a Saturday afternoon and when we arrived at our condo, the chairs (and umbrella) we reserved were waiting for us. When we left, we had to do nothing but put the chairs etc by our front door. So simple. Richard just made the whole experience so easy. Unfortunately, after this most recent experience, we will not be returning. Yesterday's interaction was not only disappointing but embarrassing, especially in front of our guests. We were approached and reprimanded because one of our guests was partially in the shade of a neighboring umbrella--despite the fact that the umbrellas are placed very close together and that particular setup had gone unused all week. The situation escalated to the point where the umbrella was put down, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. We have tolerated a number of unpleasant interactions over the years, but this experience crossed a line. Respectful customer service should be a baseline expectation, especially for returning customers.

Saw him help a few first time paddle boarders. Kayak rental was $25 which was pretty reasonable. Sure beats other kayak rental places I've been too on similar beaches. While at this beach I saw many snook, pinfish, and even a manatee. Taking out a kayak could definitely get you close enough to see some really cool marine life! I would definitely suggest hitting up this place if you wanna check out a beautiful beach and enjoy some time on the water!
