In one year my child had 4 DIFFERENT math teachers! 4!!!! How is my child supposed to thrive like this?! They don't have an indoor lunch room for the children either! Try to get an understanding of what the kids are learning? Good luck! No agendas, no weekly communication, nothing. My child has tried harming herself and had to be put in therapy because of the bullying she has received at this school! I am fed up. We have a 2nd and 5th grader and I've always been pleased with their teachers, the staff is very professional and has always been helpful when I had questions or when I was at the school to visit. The grounds of this school are so well kept, the security here gives me comfort as well, so many resource officers and lots of teachers out helping kids when it's time for final bell. Teachers are great at communicating here, we couldn't make it to our sons parent teacher conference so she called us and had a phone conference instead, they are so good at working around busy schedules too! I was placed for my internship here and my 5th grade cooperating teacher is incredible. She allows me to use my obtained education knowledge to prepare and teach the students in the class. I will be the first to review this school on Yelp. Maybe that is a good thing…read more I will start by saying, I really do not care for any of the schools in South Hillsborough County. What were once A rated schools have dropped to C and other insane things go on. In fact-i have 2 of my kids (the last one is too young) in schools in South Tampa! So I enrolled my middle child in this school for the Summer VPK program. Initially, going there to drop off the voucher (which I want to state for the record, is a stupid system. There are better ways to keep track of things), it was a little unorganized and the woman at the front desk...well, let's just say I am thrilled I didn't have to deal with her past that point (nice but not attentive and made me wait while she was outside making small talk with a parent she knew). Once we were in, I was very pleased. The other lady in the office (the younger one) was very pleasant-always greeted you when you enter the office or in passing on campus. First day of VPK, we were late and when we got there, we were given a tour by a kind teacher. Our VPK teacher, who is a Kindergarten teacher there, was very nice. She always updated me on my child and seemed on top of things. She had her room all set up and prepared for teaching. The campus seems small, I really didn't venture past the Kindergarten hallway. Cute little garden in the middle of the property. Location is convenient and yet also it's pitfall as it is close to Clairemel and not quite a desirable area-but exact location of this school is good-close to Brandon and other things, close to freeway and expressway. The middle school is also right next door so it's convenient if you have a child in elementary and middle, I saw some lousy ratings on Google for this school which are unfair. They didn't write much or anything at all as to why they gave the school a bad rating. Overall my daughter enjoyed her summer there and I have no complaints!

Our experience with this school over the past three years has been incredibly disappointing and, at…read moretimes, deeply distressing. My child has a disability, and we expected the school to provide the support, accommodations, and care he is entitled to receive. Instead, we have experienced repeated failures to properly accommodate his needs. Even more concerning, my child was mistreated by aides at the school to the point that DCF became involved. No child especially a child with a disability who depends on adults for support should have to go through experiences like this at school. Parents should be able to trust that their children are safe, respected, and receiving the support they need. Based on our experience over the past three years, I would not recommend this school to families of children with disabilities. I sincerely hope the school takes these concerns seriously and makes meaningful changes so that other children and families do not have to experience what ours has.

We started our infant daughter at 14 weeks old at this Goddard campus while on the wait list for…read morethe owners' other school which is under construction in South Tampa. We had issues starting on Day 1 when we arrived and teachers were not wearing masks in the infant room. I told my concerns to the Director at the time who assured me they would wear masks moving forward. From then on we always saw her teachers in masks. We had several other issues including a lead teacher who did not provide our daughter any tummy time for several weeks, which we only noticed was happening after she stopped rolling over at home. On several pick up days, the fill in teachers in the afternoons were also using the iPads to show videos to our daughter. We also had some communication issues with her initial lead teacher Re later to scheduled and feeding. When the school director changed from Michelle to Ashley we had a discussion and Ashley addressed all of our concerns. They also brought in a new lead teacher for the infant room - Ms. Jessica - who we really loved and still think is a great infant teacher. The final straw for us, though, was 10 weeks after enrolling when we received the attached notification via the school's app on a Monday evening without any prior notice or warning. When I went to drop off our daughter the next morning, the director confirmed that vaccinated staff and parents would not be required to wear masks although they may still choose to. From what I experienced no one was checking vaccination status at the door. I told her we weren't comfortable with it, and she said that the decision was made by the owners the day before without any warning to anyone - teachers and staff as well. We weren't comfortable with this abrupt policy change, and I took our daughter home. I wrote to the director and asked that they reconsider requiring masks for teachers and parents in the infant room, otherwise we'd have to withdraw our daughter. I don't think this is an unreasonable request. They also already require you to clean your hands and put booties over your shoes to enter the infant room - why is a mask out of the question? The owner wrote me back and said they wouldn't be changing the mask policy and understood our decision to leave the school. The abrupt policy change without warning really put us in a horrible position. Thankfully we have grandparents who live close by and can help care for our daughter while we look for another solution, but if we didn't we would have no choice but to leave our daughter in a situation that we feel is too risky at this point. As a daycare which is intended to provide childcare for working parents, the school's actions have affected my job. Their actions certainly lost my trust and confidence that their school is managed and operated with my daughters best interests in mind. I am giving the school two stars because I do think the director and many teachers mean so well and do care about your children, but I think this school is experiencing several growing pains and that their management has some learning to do re: parent communication and relations. The same owners will be running the South Tampa campus when it opens as well and so we will no longer be attending that campus.
