Go in to pick up the keys, which is what uhaul said was only requirment. I ask the desk agent for the keys, lady says owner handles that he will be right out. Owner has me folllow him into a back room and says system is down. I said here is everything I uploaded and my confirmation number, his response that means nothing and wouldn't look at my phone. He asks for id and cc. I provided both. Then says I need a veifiier that we can reach out to if needed, that knows why I need this rental. What? Gave him a name. Starts asking me where am I taking the truck from one house to another. He then says insufficient answer. What? Verifier not acceptable tell me another verfiier that is related and local. I said I have rented many uhauls at other locations and haven't been talked down to like this ever. He says "get out" we are done you are not renting my truck. Guy after me says I need the keys to the biggest box truck all paid ready to go, he takes one look at him and says I have no information. Kid says I am not going thru that stupidly long process again, and the owner says "get out you are not getting my truck. While we are both outside waiting for uber we called main uhaul number and complained as the owner prevented us from cancelling. Uhaul did right by us. This gas station needs to close. Its impossible to get a uhaul same day and this owner knew that. Stop giving your money to this complete ignorant tyrant.

Only once did I not pass and that was due to a burned out light bulb. They didn't have it in stock so I had to replace it elsewhere and come back for a reinspection. Staff are polite and keep the line moving along. You can wait indoors or outside at a picnic table. The waiting room is basic and has a TV and newspapers, occasionally a magazine. There is a door to a back room filled with junk. This door should be kept closed for aesthetic reasons. The business is very patriotic. After 9/11 they had their tall sign out front painted as a flag, I have seen a Kentucky veterans mobile stationed there (obviously not randomly, as this site is not close to a major highway), and my favorite indication is a bumper sticker in the waiting room with a no symbol over the Confederate flag and the words, "You lost get over it".

This guy is good at screwing people over! He puts off people constantly, tells them "next week" and…read morenext week never comes because of the ridiculous way he runs his business! He has no scruples when it comes to taking care of customers. I can't tell you how many times he makes an appointment to bring your car in, and doesn't bother to inform you not to take the day off or drive through all that heavy traffic in Lowell to get there because he took someone else's car before you and that you'll have to come back another day! He ALWAYS takes other cars before you when they're fast cash! It doesn't matter to him the urgency you have to have your car fixed. You think he would be decent enough to call to reschedule when he needs to cancel you? Never does! You have to chase this guy to work on your vehicle and practically be on your knees begging him to keep a scheduled appointment! And many times he will disappoint you because he does not keep his word! Even if he has your car on the lift, he will drop what he's doing to take a fast job. Meanwhile, you're getting charged for the time he's working on someone else's car and you're not getting your car back when expected because of these interruptions! He's slow and takes his time working on cars when you actually see him in the garage. On average, he rarely gets more than one or two jobs done in a day and is constantly behind with a line of customers upset with him. He just keeps stringing more & more people along making promises he doesn't keep. He has the same vehicles that don't run on his lot for years and keeps promising the owners he will get around to fixing them. Whenever you wait for him, you will meet others also waiting and they will fill your head with complaints about their bad experiences with him. One guy with a white van complained that he's been waiting a year because Puch can't figure out the issue! He has mountains of filthy garbage all over his garage and can't find tools and wastes time looking for them. He charges customers for the time he's looking for tools, goes out to buy new ones, and also for the hours he takes off during the day to pick up his grandson and sit at home! He always rolls into work late. You can wait hours sometimes for him to show up. You're lucky if you can find him at the garage, the guy's never there! Which mechanics do you know that don't open up until 11am and are also gone during the day for hours? He will tell you that he's worked "X" amount of hours on your car and charges you for hours he didn't work! You think you're saving money going to a small time mechanic like this guy, but you actually end up losing more time and money along with all the aggravation he puts you through!

Excellent service here!…read more Sure the garage may look small and somewhat dingy but there's no doubt about it that the mechanic's here are well trained and know what they are doing. Bought a used car a few years back and brought it here to have certain parts replaced. They replaced my brake pads, rotors, exhaust, radiator, added a new fan, new o2 sensors as well as replacing the old worn ball joints and giving my car an alignment. Altogether the repairs cost me around $1,500, which was much more better than compared to the $3,000 - $4,000 estimate from other garages nearby. I've manage to get my old used car to run for about 3 years fine until it finally broke down. But besides that, I say that this place does fantastic work for a very affordable price. Would definitely bring my car here again
