Seriously, I felt so much better after the first session. I was a little skeptical and thought that this feeling was too good to be true. But I sure did book more sessions. After the first week working with Julie, my pain went from a 9 to a 2. At 5 weeks into therapy, I have no pain. Her technique and attention to detail cannot be compared to any other provider I have been too. Julie wants you to feel your best, that is her goal. There are no gimmicks, tricks or anything other than a Dr. Whose calling is to help people in pain. Julie worked on my Veteran father, my mother and now me. If you want to feel better, receive honest feedback and have a program individualized for your specific needs. This is the place! Julie works on a lot of older patients who are not internet savvy and she may not have many reviewsz but I guarantee, she is THE REAL DEAL! If you want to see results, almost immediately with your pain, this is it. She also comes to your home and so there is no excuse! I could not recommend a more qualified physical therapist in Alaska!

I have been treated at United PT for two different injuries. For my first injury, a broken ankle, I…read moresaw Alec. He got me walking pain free after a few weeks. I have not had any issues with this ankle. My second injury was more complicated. I had a torn hip labrum and torn glutes as well as plantar fasciitis. I again saw Alec for the plantar fasciitis. One visit with soft tissue work and a home stretching routine healed this in four weeks. For my hip issues I saw Alec, Brian and Helen. They worked on my pain and strength. Brian was amazing in getting my torn labrum back in place with it became painful. Helen does overall therapy but also does shock wave treatments. These helped relive my pain. Recognizing that I was also dealing with pain from overcompensation all of these PTs worked on my entire torso to reduce my pain and increase flexibility. I highly recommend United PT

My only issue is with Bridges Counseling, the agency she works under. I tried for over a month to get in to see her while on medication that I was getting low on (a little over 2 weeks out so I wasn't that "emergency" type patient that I've had to work with). No one would return my calls. Ultimately, I had to titrate myself off of a SNRI and had to find someone to pick me up cold without access to my medical records. Not ideal. Definitely not impressed with Bridges. I preferred her old agency as they were much better at communicating with me about appointments, medications, and questions. If Anne Marie had her own practice or was still under her old agency, I'd still be seeing her. The odd thing is I received a return call in August/September 2017. I'd been calling in April and May of 2017. Just something future clients might want to be aware of. I also had no direct way of reaching Anne Marie, so perhaps she will see this feedback and realize there is an issue with her staff's communication.

I walked out of the office with the same concerns I had before I walked in. She did not seem competent at all. Waste of time and money. I don't recommend her.
