She has helped many of my friends, many of my family members, and myself. She has treated me for many injuries, postpartum issues, and for migraines. Louise is the owner and one of the therapists, but when I saw her last week she never introduced herself or welcomed me, and never called me by my name. Throughout the one hour assessment of my recent knee replacement she never offered me a single word of encouragement. She has many years of experience and considerable knowledge, but no apparent social skills. An effective therapist provides clients with mental and emotional support. She seems incapable of either, and I won't be going back. read more

I called to make a new patient appointment and was asked if I had been vaccinated for COVID. I replied "no" and was told that due to the recent hospitalizations, they are only seeing patients who are vaccinated. I didn't even try to explain that I recently had COVID and received the antibody infusion; therefore, not only am I protected with the antibodies in my system and wouldn't be putting myself at risk, but I can't receive the vaccine even if I wanted to because I have to wait a certain amount of time after having COVID to get the first dose (and no, I didn't take up any hospital resources when I had COVID). Instead, I quickly said goodbye and made an appointment with The Physical Therapy Place as I will not give my business to a health care provider that refuses care to patients based on a question that doesn't take other factors into account. Unvaccinated doesn't always mean unprotected and it's disappointing to see a health care provider discriminate based on that assumption. read more
