She listened attentively, and immediately understood she needed to escalate. It was an excellent call. Then comes manager Fernando... Fernando proposed options, clarified constraints and limitations, and he ultimately delivered exactly what I was looking for: a super comfy desk seat, at a great price. We are talking excellent customer service--as good as it gets. I've been coming to this office Depot for years, and I always find what I'm looking for. The prices are always reasonable, but the customer service is the best part. And my last visit was so exceptional, that I decided that I finally needed to leave this location a well deserved five star review. Even as we were saying goodbye, Fernando thoughtfully informed me that it would take about 30 minutes to assemble the seat. I hadn't asked, but I appreciated him letting me know. It felt good knowing what I was getting myself into and that it shouldn't be too difficult or time-consuming. It was just a thoughtful comment. And thoughtfulness is the centerpiece of excellent customer service.
