My experience: Very delayed start The fit and finish is not what I expected. The reschedule to fix issues has been very delayed. Rude behavior from owner. Argues over the issue without personally visiting the property. (It's too late, don't come now) I regret hiring and regret needing to leave bad review AJ, don't worry. I was having a new back patio cover built and the contractor suggested that I first have a new gutter installed along the back of my house. I contacted AJ's and they sent their salesman Brad out to meet with me. He was on time, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. He gave me several options to choose from and helped me decide what was best for my needs. Their guys showed up on time and did an excellent job. I was not home during the install, but when I returned home, the only way I knew they were there was by the beautiful new gutter they installed. Fantastic experience with AJ's gutters. I called them to quote downspout replacements, gutter cleaning, and gutter guards. An estimator came out within an hour to scope the job. He brought all his tools, measured the lengths, matched the color of the siding with a series of paint cards, and gave me a hard quote within 5 minutes! Upon the day of installation, the technician noticed that they only quoted half of the gutter guards on my estimate. He called the owner and the owner told him to make it right. The owner himself brought out the extra material, chatted with me while the guys worked, and honored the original price! What a guy! We actually had a nice time bs'ing too! If I could give them no stars I would. We contracted to have new gutter on the back of the house, and a small piece replaced on the side. We specified they match the existing color on the gutters we have. The salesman confirmed with us the color he recommended. Well, it in no way matches, it is light years off. Yes, at Max's recommendation we selected the wrong color. We are the amateurs here, they are the professionals, we trusted their advice. When the installer saw the color was way off, as a professional courtesy he should have knocked on the door and told me. The attitude of "oh, well. Not my house, not my problem. Sucks to be you," is very disappointing. We weren't asking for the world, just that they properly match the color and replace the 12 foot piece. We can live with the back gutters, but the hillbilly patch job on the side is soooo obviously wrong. So, he agreed to replace it, if we paid for it, another $100 on top of the $500 we already paid him. Very disappointed. read more

Poor customer service and very rude. They installed new gutters around my house. I had the work inspected and it was installed incorrectly. It took forever for them to come back out to fix (almost a month). They bent up a lot of pieces trying to repair their initial installation. I spoke with owner and he was very rude but did ended up sending someone to install new pieces. I didn't appreciate being treated that way and would not recommend. read more

We are an HOA, we hired them to do some gutter work: specifically ad screws so gutters would not come a part and add extension pieces for drainage and gutter parts where missing. After completing, 2 Board members on 2 separate days inspected their work and found areas where the work was not completed. When brought to their attention, they became very upset. We finished the work ourselves and paid them in full. Although the work they did was acceptable and had they completed all of the work there would have been no issues, but since we had to spend more money to complete the necessary repairs and their attitude when issues were brought to their attention, we would not use this Company, also known as AJ's Construction, again. If you hire them or anyone, always review their work carefully before you pay. read more

I was extremely happy with the services that AJ's Seamless Gutters provided. There were no existing gutters on our home, and Mitchell Moore came out to provide us with a quote for our home. He was so great and very professional. He was courteous and answered all the questions I had without any hard selling. I received two other gutter quotes, and Mitchell's was the lowest by about $200. He informed me that it would take about 2 to 3 weeks for the gutters to be produced because the gutters are custom to every house and are painted to match the home before they even arrive. The gutters were delivered earlier than expected, and the men that came out to install them were just as courteous as Mitchell. It took them approximately 4 hours to get it completed and the gutters look phenomenal. They are a perfect match for the home! read more

I purchased a remodeled home in the Willowbend area, but the builder did not put any gutters up. I was getting alot of flooding around the perimeter of my home so I called several companies. AJ's was not the lowest bidder, but the only person I felt comfortable about working with. The sales person was very pleasant contractor to work with and very knowledgeable about the industry. They also use more heavier duty material compared to the other cheaper bids I got. With the heavy rains we get here in Houston, these gutters are preforming phenomenally! We hired AJ Seamless Gutters in 2006 for the first time. Their work was excellent and the process was 'seamless'. We needed some more work done recently and without hesitation, called them again. What a disappointment this time round! Our yard was left with bits and pieces of gutter material that we had to pick up, part of the work was shoddy and getting them to return to our house to fix it has been a nightmare. Their office staff is rude, the owner set up several appointments with us that were cancelled at the last minute. They take your check with a smile... but follow up service and attitude is awful. Before you hire AJs Gutters to install gutters make sure that the gutters theyre installing are exactly what you need because they will not come back out to fix anything once theyre installed, if they've made a mistake. I got several other estimates for gutters at the time I hired AJs. The other 2 companies recommended a certain size gutter. Buddy insisted that that size was overkill and a waste of money. Now that they are installed, the gutter in one area is too small and water flows over the gutter and in between the gutter and the roof anytime there is more than a light rain. When I asked them to come out to install the larger size in that one spot and I would pay for the upgrade they would not fix the problem unless I paid for labor like it was a gutter installed for the first time rather than repairing their mistake. AJ's gutters did great work on my new home in 2006. We had them do additional work on our home in 2015. Wow. What a difference in quality and customer service. If you like banging your head against walls ... this is the company for you. I'm sure they use the same quality of aluminum gutters as everyone else, but they are rude and really not focused on customer service. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

We were initially happy when they installed our gutters a few years ago. They were quick to give an estimate and quick to do the installlation,but it's near impossible to get them to return or to stand by their product once installed. It took 6 months of phone calls to get them back to redo an area that was a constant issue, along with an small area that was damaged. In order to get them to schedule an appointment to come out and give us a quote on repairs, I had to make it sound like I was going to order new gutters.When they thought I was going to order gutters, they came within a week!!! But, when they got here and found out it was a repair job they were not very happy. Once they gave me an estimate, it took weeks of phone calls to get them to schedule the repair job!They finally arranged the repairs, but did not repair the damaged gutter adquately. Water still runs off it when it rains. Even if I called to let them know, they refused to come by and make it right. I had intitally withheld some of the payment for these repairs to make sure the repairs would solve the issue, but to our surprise they took the balance owed from our credit card that we previously used for down payment! No matter how many times I called and left messages with their secretary and with the owner that the repair job was not done to our satisfaction, I have not heard back from them. They got paid and that's all they care about. I would not recommend them to anyone. These gutters are expensive and they dont seem to stand by their work. read more
