Outstanding Dog Grooming. Heather really know her craft, and is a nationally recognized groomer. We drive 30 minutes to bring our Airedale to Heather because her care for Airedales is excellent. This is our third Airedale and the other two suffered with skin problems due to groomer just clipping. Heather strips the coat and clips which is what a family pet Airedale needs. We are so fortunate to have been directed to A Groomery by our breeder who live in Wisconsin - Heather is know across the midwest! read more

Called this place with a prayer someone would answer this morning. To my relief they picked up. After a week of camping my puppy creek decided to run into a burr bush on our morning walk and had hundreds and hundreds of burrs on him. Without any hesitation this sweet lady said bring him on in and she got him all cleaned up and on his way quicker than most places I have ever taken a pet. He looked great! And burr free! I am so grateful she handled creek with care since this was his first time going to a groomer and was extremely scared. He was handsome and was handed back to us with a cute bow tie. I am so grateful and if I could give 10 stars I would. Love love this place! read more

When you suddenly get dumped after 7 years and are told that ALL pets MUST be pre-booked every 12 weeks and find out this is not the case because you saw your own friend's doggy there, whom you referred to Heather, while dropping your kitty off, you can understand my complete frustration with this disloyal business owner, who I've supported, building up her small business, sending plenty of referrals her way. I will not support anyone that lies to me, to my face. If, on the other hand, she had simply told the truth, I wouldn't have to make my point on social media. Heather, you did not tell me truth. I've helped you grow your business, even if I didn't bring my cats every 3 months...they're cats!! They clean themselves and are indoor cats, but as soon as I see one matted area, I call and get them scheduled. You insisted that they be scheduled every 12 weeks, not BEFOREHAND, but when I was picking up my lovely sweet boy, in a rush, as I was handing another $110 check! And, to add insult to injury, referring me, a disabled person, to Genoa? What did you expect? I now know that I'm not the only client this has happened to and I find it disgraceful, to say the least. I'm a local, from Sycamore and I will support small businesses, women-owned businesses, local businesses. I will support anyone who needs my help as a RN , I work with a psychiatrist at our local homeless shelter, as well as the health department during Covid 19 and continue to do so. I volunteer and work pro bono. I rely on local businesses that support me when I really need it and you don't want my business, which is fine. To each their own, unless you own a cat! read more

I've been taking the kids to Ashley since moving west from DuPage County about 2 years ago. She's done a great job with both my little ones (& my Pekingese diva isn't the easiest to get along with). The haircuts are always good, & the dogs have always come home seeming as if they had a great spa day, no stress. They're very sweet people, have always been professional, if they notice anything physically wrong with one of the kids that I might have missed, Heather points it out to me when I pick them up. read more
