A delivery man was standing there with a huge bouquet of flowers wrapped in plastic due to the cold weather. When he departed, I took the plastic off my gift to reveal one of the most beautiful display of spring flowers I think I have ever seen. The smell was incredibly fresh and surrounding. Immediately, my day was made by this surprise but welcome treat. My inlaws had sent the "feel better" flowers from Georgia. On the morning of the visitation, they sent a form email saying they couldn't fulfill the order and had canceled it--no phone call, no text, just a cancellation. My own fault for not doing any research, but I wasn't thinking clearly after an unexpected death in the family. I called Nate's in a panic, and the gentleman who answered was calm, kind, and reassuring. He even apologized for how the other business had treated me. He explained that because it was Monday his flower stock was a bit low, but I told him I wasn't picky--I just needed three nice arrangements for the visitation, or at worst the funeral the next day. Despite the short notice, he delivered three beautiful arrangements in time for the visitation, just a few hours after my call.
