To start with, she was very accommodating with our needs, travel time, pricing and just overall flexible around schedule and setting up the shoot. We discussed ideas before the shoot and had numerous message exchange for different poses, styling, hair and makeup. She also drove all the way to Santa Clara for shooting at the spot we picked, which was very generous of her. There are a couple things that are critical for a photoshoot especially one involving a small puppy - comfort, ideas, familiarity and patience. Nupur is exceptional in all these aspects! She also has a great personality which helped us have fun during the shoot instead of 'posing' to get the right angle and expression. My husband is bit camera shy and our small dog is difficult to manage but when we saw the final photographs they were nothing short of magic. We had our pick of 7 amongst the numerous marvelous shots she captured, but she went ahead and provided us few extras which was an awesome gesture. We can't thank her enough for capturing all these precious moments with our furry child and new guest due to arrive soon :)

Since the first moment I contacted her, she has been super tentative, responsive, and patient with all my questions and input. I wanted to try something new and different that I hadn't seen in her portfolio before and she was not only game but was extremely excited and kind about everything. Even before the shoot, we talked on the phone to discuss themes, we texted about different angles, lighting, mood, locations, and wardrobe. I have had many photo shoots (engagement, wedding, individual/family/professional portraits etc) with different photographers, and Nurpur is BY FAR the best in collaboration. We never felt like our ideas were sub par, in fact, every pose or photo that I had selected for inspiration, we actually worked to recreate each look in our own way! We basically fed off each other's creativity and ideas and turn a commercial event into stunning photographic art! She was never pushy and always listening to understand what we wanted and worked VERY hard to get us nothing short of perfection. She's so talented at capturing the types and kinds of photos we wanted that even the unedited, straight off the camera pictures with the silhouetted looks were near perfect! I am just beyond ecstatic with our experience and seriously COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR MORE. The final photos were just jaw dropping and they are exactly as I had imagined and hoped for them to be. Both photographers were very quick in providing the edited photos, and I have had a great experience both times. In 2018, my photographer was Ross, and right off the bat, he's good at communicating with me (especially since I had booked about three months in advanced). He was prompt and very professional. He was very good in balancing out candid and posed shots. Even though I was the birthday girl and had the most shots, he was really good with making sure every guest I had were represented enough in the photos (I had less than 20 guests). What I especially liked about Ross was there wasn't a lot of idle time, and he was really good with taking every opportunity and catching the right moments. In 2019, my photographer was Madeline. She was great as well, especially with balancing out candid with posed shots. Her photos were very well edited and she got to capture a lot of awesome moments! My only tiny complaint about her is that in comparison to Ross, she seemed to take a lot less photos and spent plenty of times just sitting there. For comparison, Ross gave me about 230 photos, while Madeline only gave about 170. Regardless, her photos were great, so I can't complain much haha. I will continue to use Eversnap in any events I host because it's super easy to use. I also like the flexibility of paying 50% of the price upfront, and 50% after the event.

Even though we booked on short notice, we were still able to find a photographer. I booked and paid online, which was very simple. Then the photographer emailed me about the details. The photographer, Tomas Demenis was very nice and we had a fun experience. After he put the photos on the Eversnap website and you can download which ever photos you want! This included multiple checkpoint meetings leading up to the wedding, along with last-minute photo tips to remember the week before. He also showed that he likes to capture small moments that really convey the feeling of the day, which I loved. We ended up choosing an 8-hour package with a second photographer for the wedding day, along with an engagement session. For our engagement photoshoot, Yang was so helpful with posing us in a way that looked natural. We're not the most comfortable in front of a camera, but Yang is super experienced, and the engagement photos turned out better than we could've imagined. We used so many of these photos on signage and stationery for the wedding. By the time the wedding day rolled around, we felt so familiar with Yang from our multiple meetings and the engagement shoot that it felt like seeing an old friend again. Yang also has a great photographer network - our second photographer was Vivi Lin, who was fantastic and so sweet. It was a long and high-stress day, as weddings usually are, but Yang handled all of our requested shots seamlessly within our timeline. Within a week of the wedding, Yang shared beautiful previews and we were astounded! He delivered the full gallery within a month, which was incredibly quick given how many photos there were and that he had other weddings that same month. I'm not even exaggerating when I say I've spent hours scrolling through our wedding photos every day because I am OBSESSED WITH THESE PHOTOS!! We were immediately put at ease and she carefully planned the day. She was on time and well kitted, made my wife and son so comfortable that it did not feel that you have just met this person for the first time. She took loads of pics although we were paying for just a few as part of the voucher we had bought we eventually agreed to buy a lot more. We first booked her for Christmas photos and then again for maternity pictures and most recently for newborn pictures. Yesenia works with your ideas and with her photographer's eye makes your dream picture come to life. I will continue to book Yesenia for my photography shoots and she is the first person I recommend when someone is looking for a photographer. Safety: As a mother, I have taken extra precautions during this pandemic so I was skeptical at first to book a photographer- but Yesenia has always ensured we feel safe as she creates a safe environment. She has kept her mask on for every shoot we have had with her, she disinfects all the items before use. Even now that she is fully vaccinated she keeps her mask on and constantly cleans her hands. Christmas Shoot: I first booked her when she was offering a Christmas mini in 2019. My husband, son, and our dog Moo showed up to the session at a park in the city. Yesenia was invited and warm as she helped us pose alongside the props she had. Also noted was that she was wearing a mask and disinfected the items we used as props in front of us before the shoot. I loved the pictures she took of us for Christmas that for the first time in a long time, I sent out Christmas cards! Pregnancy Shoot: I did not think I would ever have another child so when I became pregnant in 2020 I was ecstatic & quickly knew I wanted to well document this journey. I reached out to Yesenia right away, she congratulated me and told me when the most ideal pregnancy period was to take maternity pictures. I booked a spot for I was about 34 weeks pregnant. Before the shoot, Yesenia called me to discuss the color scheme, pictures I wanted to recreate, family portrait options, and the details of what I needed to take to the shoot that day. After our call, she sent me a detailed list of what to expect during the shoot and how I could prepare. When we arrived at the studio she made us feel comfortable as we took family pictures and then more intimate pregnancy pictures. My pictures came out so good everyone was in awe at how beautifully Yesenia captured that moment. Newborn Shoot: So of course I reached out to her again when my son was born. And as always she was great. She had everything in the studio prepared for our pictures. Yesenia even takes extra steps to ensure the newborn is comfortable the entire shoot. During the shoot, Yesenia was extremely calm and patient as she helped us pose and dress our son. Our son was asleep just about the entire session because he was so comfortable. I just received the raw images of this shoot and as always I am not disappointed. I cannot wait to see the final versions of these pictures =)
