I have bought my doors at several properties I own all thru Chris - A Dependable Overhead Garage. The door at one of my properties has been scraping for awhile and tenant failed to tell me for a long period of time. Chris, the owner, went out and took care of the adjustments and stood by the original work and wouldn't charge me. Chris has always come thru timely and done the right thing every time. I appreciate honest business people and will always use A Dependable Overhead Garge. I highly recommend!! read more

Husband called at 4:30pm and spoke to Chris. He explained the problem and gave him our address. Chris came out on his way home for the day and was able to fix our garage door. So thankful and can't say enough about this company! ***Update*** We got a quote to install a new opener. We called them once the opener arrived and the girl immediately set up an appointment. Brandon came out the very next day and installed our new opener, took away the old opener, set up all our remotes. Seriously great people, great service, and at very fair prices. We will be calling them back when we need doors! read more

I have used A-dependable overhead door for 4 years now. They have installed 2 jack shaft openers on my shop and just replaced the garage door on my house. They are by far one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. Today Raymond installed a new garage door on my house. I noticed a couple very small dents. Before I could mention it to him he pointed them out and said not to worry he already took pictures and sent them off to have them replaced under warranty and that he would be back soon to replace them at no cost to me. Rarely do you get customer service like that anymore. I would recommend them to anyone looking for honest, strait forward good service. read more

Good folks. I would employ them again. Alex did a fine job and was very helpful. They seem very trustworthy.

I highly recommend A-Dependable Overhead Door Co! I called them on a Monday morning and they offered to come out that same afternoon. They gave me a quote over the phone and even recommended replacing both springs as opposed to just the one broken spring as a way to save money. Brandon replaced both springs on our garage door and it couldn't have taken him more than 15:00 to finish the job. He made sure the door was closing properly and even took care of another issue we had with our garage door which was causing the door to not completely open all the way during rainy weather. Brandon was friendly, professional, and did an outstanding job taking care of our problem! From the receptionist who answered my phone call to Brandon, the service technician, I was 100% impressed!! read more

A Dependable Overhead Garage - Pretty! - Garage Door Services Near Me - Salida, California

5/02/2015 I called Chris (Owner) and informed him that I had my garage door panel at the bottom was splitting between the seams and not closing all the way correctly. By the way, I have used this company before which installed a garage door opener in my home. Chris had Ryan who was very professional and friendly come out that same day. I had side rollers installed and the price was very reasonable compare to some local garage businesses here in Lodi. I was really impressed with this company cause it is run with competent, friendly staff who are focused on servicing installing, and repairing all garage doors and openers with the highest degree of customer satisfaction and fair pricing. I am convinced with this type of service Chris and his company will be around for a long time. read more

Fantastic experience all around! One of my torsion springs snapped on my 2-car garage door. After a couple of calls to other companies, I decided to go with A-Dependable and I'm glad I did. I spoke with Chris (the owner) who was very accommodating to my work schedule and pleasantly direct with the quote. After offering same-day service (and me declining due to work), he sent Josh to my house the very next morning and offered a 9-11am window. Josh arrived at 9:02am (which I appreciated very much) and after a brief assessment, went right to work. Josh took care in his efforts and finished the job in quick order. Both springs replaced (as per my request and their recommendation. When 1 goes, it's just a matter of time before the next one follows). Following completion, Josh offered maintenance advice and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I couldn't be happier with the quality of service, competitive pricing, schedule availability, and customer focused attitude A-Dependable offers. I highly recommend their service. read more

I used this company before to fix my spring for the garage opener. I called them again recently Lisa answered and i explained my situation and she was very accommodating she said first to try to trouble shoot it myself and whatever her suggestion was worked. A Dependable Door Co installed my replacement garage opener promptly and professionally! The company arranged the soonest scheduled availability, today Dec. 27th, after Christmas holiday when my previous opener (a Craftsman) drive shaft literally broke. Donald, the installer, arrived earlier than scheduled after the office called and verified he could arrive earlier. He promptly assessed the situation, removed the old opener and then efficiently installed the new opener, LiftMaster 85704-267, in satisfactory fashion. He was courteous and respectful in our interaction and always paid attention to the details of the installation! I highly recommend Donald and A Dependable Overhead Door Co. for any garage door needs! read more

Look nowhere else.. this is the place if you are looking for quality, fast and complete service, honest information, and expert installation. I had a couple of companies tell me my door was "shot" and needed to replace it now. George Santiago came out, looked at my door and was able to fix the problem without putting on a new door. Yes, a door will be needed in the future, but not right now when money was a bit tight. The problem was fixed with a simple installation of a bar. Brandon came out later the next week and put on a brand new opener. He is just like George, friendly, professional, an expert in his field, and a no-nonsense worker. He installed my opener quickly and professionally. He also provided all the info I needed to operate this awesome unit, with more bells and whistles than any previous opener I have owned. He was very patient with me and made certain I was comfortable with this new opener. I know I will be needing a new door in the near future, and when that day comes it will be this company which I will purchase it from. The quality of merchandise and especially service is exceptional. Look nowhere else... this is it! read more

Brandon arrived exactly on time and after doing a quick check, determined the problem was not the main circuit board I had suspected. I was an electronics tech in Navy during early Vietnam,1964, and have worked in the technical fields until retirement in 2008. To make my long story short, Brandon simply reprogramed my 4 remotes and solved the problem. He could easily have sold me an unneeded main board and then reprogrammed my remotes. Its great to find a skilled craftsman who is also HONEST. A-Dependable Overhead Garage Doors is in a class where 5 stars are not enough. 9 or 10 stars would be my rating read more

My garage door was "complicated". Another local garage door company attempted to fix it, and left it only working when "garage door karma" was in my favor that day ... Along comes Dependable Garage Door Co., with real experts - Brandon and Alex! Seriously, they figured the core of the issues with the door. Voila, it works like a charm consistently. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company! read more

Customer service is right Up there with Nordstrom! From start to finish, I needed the main Coil spring replaced on my garage door. From the kind voice to scheduling my appointment same day in fact. To the Service Tech Chad, whom was very quick to complete the job but very efficient to make sure the garage door was properly lubricated and closing smooth with ease. Attention to detail is very much appreciated. Chad has awesome work ethic and genuinely takes pride in his work. Overall this company has OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE & QUALITY WORK! During a time when it seems like it's harder to get good service, this company really stands out. Our garage door replacement process was awesome! They quickly sent someone out when we called, we got a very fair bid, they were forthcoming about the timeline (the door manufacturing company took a while but we expected that), and as soon as the doors came in, we had an appt for install. The installers were two of the nicest, friendliest, most respectful workers we've ever had at our house. They did a clean, top notch job, and we're super happy with our new doors. All of our interactions with the office staff were great too. I do not hesitate to recommend Dependable Overhead Door Co. read more

We chose this company because they had great reviews on Yelp and we were not disappointed. The front office was super responsive and easy to contact. We got our estimate in a few hours and scheduled the install for a week later. Our house is 27 years old so when the garage door broke, we decided it was time to upgrade. We selected doors with windows and insulation. Raymond showed up ahead of schedule with everything he needed. He was very personable and professional. The install went flawlessly and, in hindsight, no mess left behind. When my wife got home after the doors were installed, we realized that the clearance was a little close for comfort so I called the office. Raymond was back within an hour with a smile on his face and he adjusted the door to provide a comfortable clearance. If you need an emergency repair or you are thinking of replacing your garage doors, we highly recommend this company. read more

Our technician, Brandon, arrived exactly on time. He was neat, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He installed two new garage door openers in about two hours and when done, he cleaned up the work areas; took the boxes from the new garage door openers and both of the old garage door openers with him in his truck. I'd use this business again for any of my garage door repairs or installation. Great company!!! read more

Walking into the house, I pushed the button to put the garage door down. I heard a loud thud - uh oh - that didn't sound right! The garage door was all wonky! I jumped on Yelp to see what I could find. I decided to call A Dependable Overhead Garage. Maria answered, and I told her what happened. She said they could have someone out to the house within 2 hours!!! John showed up within 2 hours and found that a cable had snapped. He was able to fix that, but also recommended a new garage door. We were able to order the garage door right then and there, and about 2 weeks later it was installed. John also installed the new door, and he was great to work with! I highly recommend this company if you need garage door repair or a new one! read more

I was looking for a reliable company to fix the spring on my garage door that broke over the weekend and this company was recommended by a few family members. They were super quick on getting back to me with a quote and service. Chad was amazing! He called me in advanced to let me know he was running a bit late due to traffic and as soon as he arrived he fixed the issue. He helped me out by adjusting the second garaged door that was giving me problems. Everything was done in less than an hour. I will definitely use them again in the future if in need. Thank you!! read more
