We decided to go with Hardie board lap siding, and to our amazement, RFM Siding came in with the lowest estimate, as well as the most positive attitude.  They are a joy to work with.   In addition to the estimate, Fatima gave us an overview of how the work would be completed and the timetable for each part.  She also broke down the estimate into each area of work/labor.  We knew how much we were spending for materials and labor for each phase of the project.  Fatima is an excellent project manager, and always ready to answer questions or attend to any concerns you may have. She researched and found us exactly what we wanted and needed. Overall, we had our entire home resided from T1-11 to Hardee lap, soffits and fascia were rebuilt with Hardee as well, and the entire home (two story) was caulked and painted with Super Paint by Sherwin Williams, which has a very long life.  Fatima researched and found us exactly what we needed to meet our goals.  Renato is amazing.  You could say he has skills, but we say he has a gift.  This work comes so naturally to him and you can see it in his attitude, his knowledge and eye for what will look best, and even his perfect cuts!  One of the amazing details, the lap siding meets exactly the same at each corner (10 each). I've seen houses with mismatched corners, but Renato made each exactly as they should. We trusted his opinion and he never led us wrong.  Renato worked closely with his co-worker Cleugiannie (pronounced Clu-gee-ahn-nee). They are totally in sync, worked hard as a team and enabled us to see progress on our home daily. They looked for mistakes as they painted and took care of them immediately. The entire team had great respect for our home, our grandchildren...and even our dog.  The yard was left as they found it. No debris was left and nothing was damaged. We know if we called today, they would be here as soon as possible to handle our concerns.  To say we are happy with the results would be an understatement.  We have a new home.  We highly recommend RFM Siding for all of your siding, home improvement needs.  We are already planning a second small project with them at another location. So, would we hire them again? Yes!

The home depot rep Bemjamin Coffey came and took preliminary measurements and scheduled our installation. Fatima at RFM called and stated that they would be doing our installation. RFM arrived at our home on time and Fatima introduced herself and her crew, Renato and Daniello. They were all friendly professional and cordial. They were all meticulous in setting up for the job, and Fatima explained every step of the process. As soon as they began working I could tell they were experts and I would go as far as to say that they are not only highly skilled but they are artists. They made what is normally a difficult job look easy, and I could tell they truly enjoyed there work. After the work was complete Fatima walked with me through my home and showed me how the windows worked and asked me if there was any touch up work needed, there was not , and they made the windows look as if they had been there all the time. We would absolutely recommend RFM for home improvement projects.

Our home is 1,300 sq ft and like I said, the work was for 3 sides only, not the front of the house. We were also told that craftsmen carpenters where doing the work. First they started to remove the trim from the front of the house. This was NOT to be touched. I wanted to keep that more rustic since it was weathered cedar. When I questioned this, we'll call him worker #1, he said only the trim, but they were going to do only the trim around the garage area which would not look uniform unless the two windows where done also. They did the two windows, but the worker told them I asked for the trim on the front of house, which I did NOT! When they removed the trim from the front, they also broke a piece of the cedar siding, and didn't bother telling anyone. I discovered this when I was inspecting the work. So that needed to be replaced and luckily we had some weathered boards from pieces that we were replacing from the front ourselves. If not, there would have been one piece that stood out like a sore thumb. They were going to wrap the house and proceed with adding the siding. I asked "what about the rotten parts that need to be replaced?" Worker #1 said is was fine. It was not, you could see where the bottom of some was rotten and could literally pull it off. I called the supervisor #1 and he came out and yes, there was 2 ft sections that needed to be replaced. So when they removed the siding they broke a water pipe, flooded my bathroom and they replaced the padding under the carpet. Took two days for the area to dry out, luckily we have a large industrial fan. Again craftsmen carpenters are doing this work. When they started to install the siding, I told worker #1 that the cable guy was coming out the next day to determine what cables are needed. They just proceeded and now there is this ugly trimmed out piece for nothing on the side of the house that faces the road. Did I mention all the workers that did this job are from Brazil and I don't think communication was clear. When the sales person came out originally (Heather V), I specifically asked her about the screened in back porch and how they would proceed with that. She told us that they would just removed the frame attached to the house and be able to slide the siding underneath it. Made sense to me, they only need about 1/8 inch. The "craftsmen carpenters" ended up covering up where the frame and screen spline go about 1/2 inch. So if and when we need to replace the screen we have to contact them to remove and reattach the trim. When I told supervisor #2 (Will) about this, he said "the sales person doesn't know how siding is done". Well then your salesperson should be telling the customer procedures she is not familiar with. Did I mention that these "craftsmen construction" workers caulked the bottom of one of the window screens?!?! So they take a utility knife to open it back up on one of the many return visits to "fix" what they either messed up, or didn't complete on the original visit. And to top this off, the trim is not the same size as the existing trim, which means our hurricane shutters don't fit our 10 window. FYI we live is SE Georgia, we have tropical storms and hurricanes every year. We had to take the Lexon panels and re-cut 3 sides each and drill out over 200 rivets and replace 200 rivets by hand. This took us approx 20 hrs to get this done and we had hurricane Milton coming our way. By the grace of God we had no damage. This entire job resulted in destroying my plants in the back yard either by trampling them or coating them in paint, several times having to come out and repaint, add more caulking, re-screen windows because they had paint on them, or the screening was done poorly because of the shoddy workmanship. I really didn't like the idea of them dumping the watered down paint in the back yard which is right next to the creek either. I was told that was standard practice to dump watered down paint in yards and gravel roads. Upon completion of the entire job, Supervisor #2 (Will) said that they would be sending us a gift card for $250, "have a nice dinner on us" he said, because of all the issues that happened on this job. Well you know that never happened. I would NOT recommend Morgan Exterior at all.

ales person came and gave us the "story". At the end I was left with this handwritten scribbled…read moresheet of paper with a bunch of "I bet you are an idiot" discounts that brought the price of 15 windows down from $46,000+ to $18,890. The final price wasn't even in a column, but just in the bottom margin. Next day the office called and hinted at a better deal to be done after I finished getting quotes. After all the other quotes were in Morgan was in second, but high by $6,000+. So I let them know and got a lower price than was still $4k higher. Asked about a lower quality window pricing and they responded by quoting a higher package. I asked again and finally got a "I showed your photos to our production manager and we can not do you job". I think this basically just met they only could do if they got a premium price. By the time they said they couldn't do I had read enough reviews to not feel I was willing to risk them anyway.

However, management on the other hand, not as happy with. To begin with I ordered the windows and doors April 2025 with the expectation that they would be installed in early July 2025. The windows and doors did not get installed until mid September 2025 and the master bedroom window was not measured correctly. Though promised it would be early October, It did not come until late November. Moreover, the screens were not correct so they had to be ordered. They didn't come in until the end of December. However, not all the screens had the right size they had to be re-order twice and finally April 2026, exactly 12 months later it finally was done. I had spoken with the manager and out of respect will not use his name who asked what type of discount did I want because I explained with all the patience I exhibited and the time it has taken for all of this to be done, a discount was very much warranted. After numerous discussions, the level of discount was dismal and honestly almost a slap in the face. He tried to explain to me why I didn't need one. He tried to justify why the price I paid was sufficient, but I reminded him it took him 12 months three tries for the screens two tries for the window and I never once complained. I was patient however he started to get a bit of an attitude like he was doing me a favor. At the end of the day, the installers get 10 stars, the manager I spoke with gets one star so I gave an overall two to be nice. Keyword nice when it comes to the manager. He was not very customer centered and really felt that I was putting him out despite the fact that I had to wait one full year for them to deliver on service.
