The first time I ever set foot in this daycare, before any of the staff knew who I was, they allowed me to enter the building without checking my I.D. or making sure that I was on the contact list for my son! They also proceeded to give me all of the information that asked for ( days and times that my son attends ) and they even offered information that I didn't ask for ( my son's mother's phone number and address, my phone number and a list of the mother's payments and payment schedule ). This type of behavior not only puts my son at risk, but every child in that building!! Once they let me in I could easily access any room I wanted to.
This place also considers itself a preschool. Every facility I contacted that was solely a preschool, had college educated teachers with teaching degrees. A child's view simply requires an eight hour training session and their staff is approved for teaching.
Between the unbelievably disturbing lack of security and the absolute bare minimum requirement to be employed here, I have to say this place is one humongous failure!!! Lord knows how many other failures go on in this place that I haven't been able to witness! I would remove my son in a heartbeat if the choice were mine to make, but for now it's up to his mother. I have pleaded with her to get him out of there and choose a safer facility, but she isn't as responsible of a mother as she should be. This a sad excuse for a daycare and if you can avoid taking your child here then by all means AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! read more
