We used to love this place and loved the staff but as time…read morecontinued and our kid continued to grow we noticed that it was difficult to keep this place staffed. Sometimes they would staff the young kids rooms with fresh faces without enough training to provide parents the lesson plans they have for their children. So the kids would be left roaming free doing whatever they wanted. There would be times that the kids were finally calm and was learning how to self regulate their emotions and then a new teacher comes in and changes the atmosphere. And sometimes they would assign teachers who gag when it comes to potty training kids which sets some kids back because they are thinking that they are doing something wrong with the reaction that teacher is giving. There is no consistency with these teachers and they keep rotating all the teachers around which causes chaos. There hasn't been any more lesson plans given to the parents because the teachers never know which class they will be in. There has been times where I would come in early to pick up my child, only to hear the tablet speakers blasting and the children staring at the tablet and watching DannyGo. There are other times where I would come in and hang out with my kid a bit in the morning and smell the strong odor of marijuana on a teacher as she walks in to start her day. They aren't always consistent to checking in your kids into the classroom so you can look on the app and see how their day is going by either looking at the posts from the teachers or logging into the live video feed but only if they are checked in by the teachers. They are very adamant when it comes to parents checking in their children but aren't when it comes to teachers checking in their children. Overall, we used to love this place and loved the staff that were meant to teach. There are still some people there from when our kid started and we love them, but we can see that them being short staff is effecting them. These teachers play such a huge roll in these children's lives so it's important to keep them happy and honest. When I talk to another parent they were noticing a difference in the teachers' attitudes as well. So seeing some of these teachers' patience running thin shows that they need some extra training because kids will be kids and they need guidance. We also didn't appreciate when the the director Richelle took 9 days to respond to us about some concerns we had when it came to them being short staffed and causing us issues because they were not able to care for our child. Child care is expensive enough so waiting 9 days for a statement to be corrected only to get charged a late fee in the process while waiting is ridiculous. Really wish Ashley was the director because she is always prompt with responses and she is so caring and respected amongst all of her peers and children. The children all love her and listen to her. She knows how to handle difficult situations and how to properly de-escalate any issue with both adults and children. Hoping this place gets better in the near future for the children.

Imagine our nerves and worries after the previous place. This never occurred at Family Life. The staff has been outstanding so far and the stages and assessments have been worry free, no actually, really rewarding. Communication has been good and we always feel welcome. Our little one talks about the teachers and friends continuously. Toddler classroom has been very rewarding!

We had to make a transition from another site and I was a little hesitant about the move but they did an awesome job in making sure the kids would adjust fine by keeping them with some kids and teachers they were with previously. Everyone I've encountered thus far has been polite and friendly. The teachers in my sons classroom are understanding, helpful, nurturing and inviting. Classes geared towards preparation for kindergarten cost extra as well as any other fun programs. The registration fee is 75, 25 if you register early. The staff offers moderate feedback. I participated in this school for one year. I left because the school age teacher was unkind to my child. I spoke with the teacher to try to get a better understanding and the manager of the school. I don't think the teacher was reprimanded. I like the location of this center, if it weren't for the teacher we would still be there. Children under three and infants are well cared for.

Mrs. Kali is one of my favorites she is understanding, caring and she started out as a teacher. All three of my children attended Kindercare at an early age. The teachers I encounter really cared about my children. Most of the teachers that are there has been for some years. Kindercare is very clean and organized. I also enjoy that they send you pictures of your children throughout the day and a daily recap of activities including what they are eating and times they went potty and for the baby room the time they have been changed. My son was taught how to read in Pre K from a teacher that believed in him and to this day he is one of the best readers in his classroom. She made sure we was on top of his education at home too. Mrs. Tenisha is so patience and kind. My son loves her! Mrs Bennie has been with Kindercare for a while. I met her while at another location and she treated my son like her own especially when he was just starting daycare.

No Cameras, No Accountability…read more My child was enrolled in the Newborn room at Heights One World from April 2021-January 2022. During that span of time, we picked him up to discover two serious injuries that were not disclosed to us by an incident report or phone call. The first incident was a dislocated left elbow which took place in June when he was only 7 months old. There was no explanation as to how or when it happened, but it was clear that our child was distraught and completely not using one arm until we got it x-rayed and a doctor popped his elbow back into place. This type of injury is not uncommon, but it is caused by being picked up inappropriately by the arms instead of the armpits. We were told by the teachers and administrators that our child would be safe there and that additional care would be provided to ensure that nothing like that would happen again. Looking back, we deeply regret not withdrawing him at that point because the second incident was significantly worse. In January, when our son was 14 months old, we arrived at the daycare and could hear him crying in a very painful, unusual way. We had never seen him like this before. When we asked about what happened, we were told that the crying started after one floating teacher/aide was left alone with him to change his diaper. This person was also present/in the room when the first incident happened. After taking him to the doctor and getting him x-rayed, we discovered that his right arm was fractured. We were not only concerned for our child's safety, but the safety of other children. We contacted the police to file a report and then contacted the daycare administrators to provide a written record of the information that we knew thus far. We had so many unanswered questions and requested a meeting. Their response, prior to learning about law enforcement being contacted, was essentially that if there is no incident report then there was no incident however, they would meet with us. They claimed to have interviewed with the teachers in the Newborn room and the information had changed from what was said to us the day we picked him up and what was said to us via text messages, to now a new story that protected the daycare staff from being implicated. Instead of showing concern for our child's wellbeing, they were incredibly defensive. Then, after the investigation began, the administrators contacted us again to say that they would no longer be interested in a meeting or resolution with us. That kind of behavior would be shocking and disturbing to any parent. It reinforced the need for us to trust our gut as we did to get the authorities involved. Our son was put in a cast for two weeks (as shown in the photo) and upon getting it removed, struggled to begin crawling again. He continues to have a trauma response anytime he is up on a traditional changing table because that is most likely how/where he fell and broke his arm. I truly appreciate how quickly the local police department, state licensing agency, and CPS responded to this case. We knew that without cameras in the facility or employees that are willing to tell the truth, it would be hard to get answers. The person directly responsible for causing harm to our child has not come forward, but the case is still open. If you have any information that could be relevant to this case, please reach out to us. I continue to look back on the experience and just wish it didn't have to come to this. If they had cameras installed after the first incident, this could have been avoided. Still to this day, they do not have cameras which says a lot about how seriously they're taking these claims and striving to do better. Be better! For the safety of our kids. While I feel sadness and empathy for how truthful this review is, it is not done with ill will or malice. Parents that are looking for a safe place for their children are looking for honesty in order to have an informed opinion. I hope that this can serve as an understanding of our experience at this daycare.

The teachers are so warm and friendly, and my son is so excited to get to day care in the morning. All of the staff members are very communicative, and Miss Jackie at the front office made sure to call my wife the first couple of days with updates because she had been so nervous about our son's transition. This is a wonderful center and they really make you feel like family.
