There were a lot of floral arrangements that needed to be done onsite, and the venue only allowed a short set-up time. It was GRACE UNDER PRESSURE for sure, as they worked their magic around the reception dining tables, entryway, special display and food tables, and outdoor patio ceremony site. There was a large metal arch that had been beautifully bedecked with fresh arrangements on it, and it was an exceedingly windy day. Despite the difficult conditions, they completed the entire set-up on time and absolutely beautifully. The flowers were focal to every space for this wedding, and they did a brilliant job! Lovely people who do LOVELY work!

We went for opening and didn't have any issues getting shoes or finding the size ball we wanted. We ended up doing 4 hours and had no mechanical issues on our lane. Food and drinks were taking a very long time and at one point the staff told us they weren't taking anymore orders for a while but didn't tell us how long.

I was disappointed in how much prices have gone up and that some bounce space was taken away for all the video games (video game prices were high and it was hard to keep my younger kids away from them). It was something to do on a hot day for the kids though. Be aware that there is little to no structure once you are inside. Keep an eye on your children and moderate their behavior if you need to (there is no staff monitoring the bounce houses or floor)

Every detail was attended to including a personal introduction by the Owners as well as their staff. The original home was absolutely breathtaking and you could tell much attention to detail was involved in choosing antiques which adorned the home as well as the basement. I didn't make it to the pool house but heard it was also lovely. The food was superb and the evening was just incredible. I learned later that this Plantation was recently reopened to the public after some updating and refurbishing. It is truly a gem in Charles City and a perfect location for couples who are getting married in Williamsburg but would like a more private affair for their reception. It would also make an amazing spot for Corporate meetings and Holiday Parties. Let's give these folks some MUCH deserved business!!!
