Dr. Soler is absolutely outstanding. After many years, one of my original breast implants ruptured,…read moreand I needed them replaced. From the very first appointment, he made the entire process smooth, reassuring, and stress-free. While waiting for surgery, I developed dermatitis (skin allergy) from the prosthetic bra insert that I purchased online. Dr. Soler thoughtfully postponed the procedure to allow everything to fully heal so we could minimize any risk of infection and ensure the best possible outcome. That level of care and attention meant so much to me. He has an incredible bedside manner, takes the time to answer every question, and genuinely cares about his patients. I felt completely confident in his hands. I am beyond thrilled with my results. If you're looking for a skilled, compassionate plastic surgeon in the Tampa area, I highly recommend Dr. Soler.

I've been in search of a diagnosis for my chronic health issues that I've had for years, and while…read moreI had my breast implants removed in 2015, when I googled "breast implant illness doctors near me" and this practice popped up in the search results several times. I called the office, explained my situation and that I had my implants removed in 2015 and asked if it's possible to still have breast implant illness. Whoever I spoke to basically talked me in to a consultation with Dr. Soler and since he doesn't take insurance, the consult fee was $75. Everything I read on the website led me to believe that Dr. Soler is THE BII SPECIALIST and I figured it would be worth a shot to see if I could finally get some answers. I showed up 2 minutes past my appointment and had the office calling me to see where I was (parked out front of the office). I paid the consult fee and when Dr. Soler's assistant took me back to a room, she said "so you're here for a consult to remove your breast implants?".... Ummm noooo. I made it very clear on the phone before I scheduled the consult that they were removed in 2015 and confirmed this again when I checked in, before paying the consult fee. When it was all said and done, I got no help and am now out $75. And when you're living on social security, $75 is A LOT of money. Please be careful if you're interested in scheduling a consult for breast implant illness if your implants have already been removed. There was zero reason for them to schedule a consultation so the doctor could tell me that he couldn't do anything to help me rule out BII or in general!!!

When I was 19 I got rhinoplasty from Dr. Erel Laufer. He did my twins too. I honestly LOVED him at…read morefirst. He seemed like an amazing doctor who just wanted to make his patients happy. I was wrong... I should have reported this to the board, but I was so sick of fighting I was just glad to get my money. With cosmetic surgery I had to pay all 8,250 dollars UPFRONT to him. Half of this surgery was covered by my insurance. SO keep in mind we already paid him ALL THE MONEY UP FRONT. My insurance company sent him a check for around 4000 dollars because he NEVER reported to them that we had paid him. They sent me a receipt and I wasn't sure what it was. So I called my insurance company and asked what it was about. He told me that the surgeon didn't report that we paid him so they sent him the refund check. I then proceeded to tell him we had to pay in full upfront. He then proceeded to tell me that I had a right to that money and I need to request it from the surgeon... so I went to the office, I told the lady at the front desk and she came back and told me she would let him know. THIS IS WHERE THE LIES START. I came back and she handed me a check for 500 dollars... out of the 4000 they owed me. I told her this wasn't right. She told me she didn't want to get involved, she was afraid she would get fired so she said I could come back and talk to Dr. Laufer the next day. I had class so my mom went to ask why he didnt give me a check for the full amount... he proceeded to lie and say it was for lab fees. MY INSURANCE PAID FOR ALL THE LAB FEES except for 100 dollars which they told me they weren't pursuing me for. They chose to right it off as a loss. For the next month or two we had to fight with this man to get what he owed me... he wrote a second check for around 2 grand. WE KEPT FIGHTING WITH HIM, my mom threatened to take him to court because he literally robbed us. He FINALLY wrote us a third check for the rest of the money. Basically... we paid him 8,250 dollars in full for my surgery.... then my insurance company wrote him a check for 4000 so if he had gotten away with it... he would have gotten $12,000 for my surgery. This is all 100% true. I could probably even try to prove it and have my bank print the checks he wrote me.... Im not trying to slander him, but to anyone who is considering having him as your surgeon... please reconsider. It wasn't about the money... it was about the fact that he tried to rob my family. I just got my wisdom teeth pull. My insurance paid 800 dollars of it and I paid 800 dollars. A month after I got a check from the surgeon who did my surgery, Dr Dean in Pensacola... for 400 dollars. I had no idea he owed me this, and if he never sent me it, I would of never know. It just goes to show how amazing some doctors truly are. I hope this helps anyone who is considering this. I hope I save someone from going through what I did. Or getting robbed.
