If you envision a lit dance floor on your wedding day, Mark is your guy! My husband and I cannot thank him enough for his guidance and support throughout the entire wedding planning process. The Vibo app he uses breaks down each section of the ceremony and reception, making it easy to build playlists that he skillfully integrates into the flow of the day. Mark was professional, communicative, and incredibly flexible--allowing us to make last-minute edits right up to our wedding date. Our expectations were completely exceeded as we danced the night away with our loved ones. The energy never dipped for a moment, and I went absolutely feral when he dropped a mash-up of Lady Gaga's "Abracadabra" and Charli XCX's "Von Dutch." His mixing abilities and unmatched MC skills kept the night flowing seamlessly and the crowd completely engaged. Choose Mark, and you'll quickly understand why he's earned so many awards and accolades. read more

A Big Ticket Sound Experience was absolutely fantastic! Our DJ (Mark Hardin) was extremely professional, organized, and thoughtful in his approach to DJing our wedding. Our planning and setup were exceptionally smooth, and the experience was awesome. Mark had very tasteful transitions for all the wedding traditions (toasts, first dance, etc.) and had everyone on the grooving on the dance floor all night. He was great at reading the vibe and playing just the right songs to make everyone want to dance. Some highlights of our experience The planning: - We had a very well-organized intro to Big Ticket and a very well explained outline of the packages, costs, and experiences The Organization: - The App Mark gave us access to was so easy to use and great for making sure we had the right songs selected for each moment (processional, first dance, mother-son dance etc.) It was also so useful for sharing our favorite songs that we wanted to hear. - We had another call prior to our wedding to confirm the final items and Mark made sure to call out any items we might have missed The Experience: - We had fantastic microphone setups so that everyone could hear clearly (while outside) with minimally invasive mics. - Our ceremony and cocktail hour music was exactly what we wanted and set the mood perfectly - The Reception Music/Dance floor vibe is a HUGE thing to us, and our families and Mark absolutely delivered! Everyone was on the dance floor from the minute we opened (with Marks fantastic opener) until the very end. My mom and multiple family members remarked at how great our DJ was and all had so much fun. - Mark went above and beyond to make sure our celebration was the best. We appreciate the time and effort he put forth to help make our big day so great. read more

Working with Mark was the best decision I made! He was so helpful and kind. He was the perfect MC. He spent 2 hours on the phone with me ironing out all the details I missed. The picture wall he offers is 1,000,000% worth it. I saw it for the first time when I was doing my first dance and the emotions I felt seeing the walk down the aisle and my guests points of view was priceless. I can't recommend him and his team enough. He also snuck a few pictures himself and they were amazing to see right after the big event. Thank you Mark you're AMAZING! read more

I want to take this opportunity to give my sincere thanks to Mark Hardin of Big Ticket DJ Service. My son and his beautiful wife chose Mr. Hardin's DJ service to provide services for their wedding ceremony and reception. Mr Hardin did an amazing job and provided excellent service beyond our wildest dreams. In addition when our wedding coordinator was unable to make the rehearsal. Mr. Hardin stepped in and assisted the wedding party with the final rehearsal. Mr. Hardin's professionalism and overall service was excellent and was a cut above other DJ services we used in the past. I highly recommend Big Ticket DJ Service. Our family and friends haven't stopped talking about the wedding and how much fun they had thank to the phenomenal services of Big Ticket DJ services. Yvonne Jackson mother of the groom. read more

I want to preface this review with the following. When you think of "A Big Ticket Sound Experience" think of e x c e l l e n c e in every single way. Not to worry, I will go on... There I was 10-days until the "big day," mine and my now husbands wedding. I hadn't heard from the original DJ (not associated with A Big Ticket Sound Experience) we had booked in two-weeks and was very worried. I received an e-mail letting me know that the original DJ encountered an emergency and would not be able to perform on our wedding day - panic set in. My good friend and I got to work contacting every single DJ known to man and everyone seemed to be booked on our wedding day. Queue heavenly music - "ahhh" - Mark with A Big Ticket Sound Experience was the knight in shining armor who happened to also encounter a cancellation the day of our wedding. Mark set up a zoom call with my good friend, my husband and myself. This man is the definition of organized and precise! Mark had a presentation ready to go showing us different packages available and showed us the ease of use of his website. We decided to book Mark with A Big Ticket Sound Experience and couldn't be more pleased we did. Mark helped to settle my nerves with a calm and professional demeanor. The ease of use and navigation of the website that comes paired with the sound experience was out of this world! It was so easy to pick and choose what song selection and experience we wanted to provide at our wedding. Since we were so close to the wedding date, Mark made sure to keep in contact ensuring every detail was fine-tuned almost effortlessly. I shared some worries I had with Mark about the big day namely the processional (the group of people that walk down the aisle in a specific order). Mark shared some ideas with me and put my mind at ease. Mark (queue the knight in shining armor) offered to arrive the day before the wedding for the rehearsal to guide the wedding party through the entire processional rehearsal which was an absolute God-send! A Big Ticket Sound Experience also has some top-notch equipment! It was so fun for family members and friends to be able to take photos and for them to appear right on the DJ booth front and center. The lighting provided also set the stage for the fun and dreamy outdoor atmosphere we were looking for. If you are looking for a wedding DJ, look no further than A Big Ticket Sound Experience! Mark is organized, prompt, well-versed, professional, kind and fun. Having Mark and A Big Ticket Sound Experience DJ the wedding felt like family. I can't thank them enough! read more

Mark did such an amazing job 20 years ago as our DJ at our wedding we just had to have him back to DJ our son'a wedding. Mark did such am amazing job once again. I would highly recommend him. He follows the program and is thorough to assure you get what you ask for exactly how you want your wedding program done. He really listens to what you're asking for. He also assists in outlining the program. He adds personal touches and is very attentive. He returns phone calls, text messages promptly. He cares. Mark Hardin was our wedding DJ and he was awesome! He was very well organized from the start and did an amazing job for the big day. My wife and I couldn't have been happier, and our guests had a blast. The photo wall was a big hit, and the dance floor was full all night! Thanks again Mark! read more

Mark is amazing. I've known Mark personally for 3 or 4 years now, but I've never experienced his DJ skills until this winter. My company was looking for a DJ to keep the party going at our Christmas party. I suggested Mark. Mark really did keep the party going all night, we had fun props (blow up saxophones, and guitars). He also played a lot of interactive games, getting the whole crowd involved. He played great music, took requests and knew what songs were appropriate for a corporate Holiday event. We even got a slide show of our past company events set to music...pictures of our BBQ's, thanksgiving meal and company picnic played during dessert, which really got everyone ready to dance! Mark was reasonably priced, met and exceed our expectations, I would highly recommend him for weddings, or any event in which you require an MC! read more

What can I say about Mark...? If I had to sum up our experience in one line, I would tell all that he will go so far above and beyond your expectations, you will not be disappointed. Mark works very hard, especially around "wedding season", but you'd never guess it. He responded to all emails in a timely manner, was extremely professional, and truly knows how to take a wedding from "nice" to "WOW!" Our wedding was in Woodland, on May 3rd, 2014. We purchased the platinum package, which included a TON of extras that are well worth a slightly higher price (I won't list the details of the extras since one of his niches is to surprise the bride and groom with them). Mark was personable, professional, entertaining, humorous, and VERY good at what he does. I can't tell you how many people said "that was the best wedding I've ever been to" (I'm not joking) and I know it was due in large part to Mark. He couldn't have made the day more memorable, fun, or perfect. read more

Thank you a million times over to Mark!! He really captained our night and with his direction and quick decision making in times of craziness, our night went off as smoothly as possible. At first I did not want a honeymoon dance, but after sharing his ideas and experience, the dance was so successful that my wife and I were able to enjoy a couples spa day on our honeymoon (we were swept away to a suite in Sonoma at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission in for two nights of pampering, wine tasting, amazing dining experiences and romance). I had people coming up to me throughout the night to compliment us on our MC and his work made me smile as I knew from the moment we met that Mark's personality was perfect for us. His song selection kept the dance floor packed and the smiles flowing :) The trailer produced for us was amazing and had everyone laughing, the slideshow had people smile and cry (good). He really knew how to capture the emotion and read the crowd so perfectly. In addition to this all, we were micro-phoned for our ceremony, my brother and his wife were able to hook up their instruments to his amps for cocktail hour, and he worked the sound and music for our uncle to sing for our first dance. Hope that Mark knows how forever grateful that we are to have had him be such a big part of our day and we thank him for making it so enjoyable and effortless for us. read more

Where do I begin? I first met Mark while I was touring wedding venues in the Sacramento area. Mark approached me, handed me his business card and gave me a brief introduction about his business. When he approached me, I knew I had seen him before, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. So I thought about it some more and I realized Mark was hired for one of my sorority formals. I had a chance after my tour to ask Mark a few questions and let him know what I was looking for in a DJ/MC. I also asked him since he been in the business for many years if he knew of a company for a photobooth. Right away he let me know that he has a variety of packages that offer DJ services, a photobooth, uplighting and more. I was ecstatic. I knew from that first day that Mark was going to be my DJ. Needless to say, I chose the venue that I met Mark at and he was our DJ. We chose the package with the unlimited DJ services, unlimited photobooth and uplighting. That is definitely the way to go. And his price...was unbeatable. Planning stages: In our first face to face meeting, Mark and I discussed his experience, different packages and my ideas and vision for my wedding. Not only was Mark available for any and all of my questions, he always responded quickly as if I was his only bride. He even assisted me with other questions not even related to his business; that meant a lot to me. In fact, whenever I wanted to schedule a meeting, Mark took time out of his busy schedule to set up a meeting for us. One meeting in particular stands out, I was creating the song that I was going to dance with my father and Mark offered me a chance to say a message to my father as the song is playing. I thought what a fabulous idea. By the end of that meeting, I had the song already emailed to me. That is how all of our meetings went, if we had an idea for a song or playlist, he created it and we would walk out with a CD in hand. From the beginning, Mark will let you know that he is available for any questions, concerns, changes, etc. I remember we made changes up to the day of the wedding and Mark made the changes without question. Wedding Day: They always say the thing that can make or break a wedding/reception is the DJ. I totally agree with that statement. I cannot imagine what our day would have been like without Mark. He was attentive to all of our needs. During the reception, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Mark made sure that we stayed on schedule and prompted us from one event to the next. During the speeches, Mark even said kind words about us which was unexpected and definitely appreciated. Mark definitely engaged the crowd with humor and everyone loved him. He played the best music and everyone, I mean everyone was dancing. By the time the last song was played nobody wanted the party to end. I am still getting compliments about the wedding. At the end of the reception, Mark presented us with a photo album of all the pictures from the photobooth and it was completely unexpected. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I received an email from Mark the next day of a video he created of our wedding day. It was amazing. If you are looking for DJ/MC who is amazing, experienced and professional, look no further, hire A Big Ticket Sound Experience. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much for everything Mark, you were everything we wanted and more. read more

Mark helped make our wedding day absolutely PERFECT! Whatever we wanted, he made happen. We even had several changes to our timeline the day of the wedding because of various issues, and he changed things on the fly without any of our guests noticing to keep things on time. Since we got married July 25, 2020 during COVID, we had to change so much during the planning process, even our venue! Mark didn't bat an eye and just rolled with the punches. He was always available during the planning process, whether it be via text, phone call, or email. He was such a joy to work with, and we would recommend A Big Ticket Sound Experience to anyone considering this company! read more

I have always believed that great food and a great DJ make for a great wedding. Mark Hardin is a great DJ. He brought all his equipment, including a photo booth, to our venue in Pleasanton and helped to make our daughter's dream wedding become a reality. Not only was he engaging and kept our guests entertained all evening, but he had the perfect volume to keep things hopping while enabling guests to carry on conversations. I have been to so many weddings where the music was deafening, but this was not the case with Mark. He has a talent for creating the perfect mix of music to please an eclectic crowd. One of our guests, who is a band leader in the Chicago area, even commented about what a sensational job Mark did. We hope we have the opportunity to have him DJ another event, soon! read more

Mark recently performed at our wedding, I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ. He went above and beyond when everyone involved fell off the page. My family had nothing but raves about him and all the things he did for our wedding! Since they complained about so many things for them to rave about the DJ it made me even happier, since I felt he made the event for my husband and myself. Thank you so much for everything you did to make our day the most special day of our life so far. read more
