Absolutely recommend TDW to care for your loved ones like their own.

Because of my telework schedule, I've been home when she comes to get my girl for her walk. My pup starts looking at the door and whining about 30 minutes before her arrival and goes crazy when she sees her buddy. I am so grateful I have someone trustworthy and fur baby approved for my girl. Amy is amazing! I adopted a 18 lb rescue Terrier Mix and was not prepared for keeping her home during the work days for two weeks while her vaccines kicked in. Amy jumped in to help. She is flexible to assist with last minute schedule changes. Being military, I appreciated Amy's military family background because she understands my unique challenges and also can get on base with no problem. She even brought a harness when my little escape artist needed it. I trust her completely and am bummed she won't be going with us when we move in January. My puppy loves her, too, and can't wait for Miss Amy to visit!

We had prior arrangements with a boarding facility in Smithfield but the circumstances of one of our dogs had changed a bit and she needed additional medical attention.. before i could even let them know what she needed done they responded with "nope we can't do that".. I walked out of there feeling disappointed with that facility . I cancelled that reservation and now we were frantic because we didn't have alot of time before our cruise. I googled boarding facilities in the area and "Home Away from Home" popped up.. never heard of them but thats where we went!! the moment i opened the door to the facility.. i felt welcomed by Kathy !! We explained our situation in depth and without hesitation, they said yes.. whatever it is we can do it! If i tell you.. I legit started crying!! I asked Kathy before i left if i could hug her because she literally saved our vacation!! They took such great care of our babies we were able to enjoy our vacation. Kathy and the staff at Home Away from Home were so accommodating. I would highly recommend this facility for your boarding needs and i wouldn't hesitate to board our babies there again!! Thank you to the staff @ Home Away from Home!! we really appreciate you.. Leia, Milo, Lexi, Pepper and Cayenne thank you also ;)

My first dog was a rescue and went through training with Lisa Marie, who did an excellent job. He ended up attending daycare almost every weekday of his life until he passed in 2022 at the age of 18. To this day I attribute his long life to the love (and the activity) that he was given by the staff at Four Paws on a daily basis. Since his passing I got a new puppy that has been attending daycare every weekday as well. She can't wait to go every day, and rushes to the front door when we arrive in the morning. You know that you are at a great place for your dog when the staff is as excited to see the dog as much as your dog is excited to see them. The prices at Four Paws are very reasonable, especially compared to other options nearby. I have temporarily tried other facilities (mostly due to the pandemic), but none stand up to the level of Four Paws. I've recommended them to other dog owners I know and they are now regular daycare attendees as well. If you bring your dogs to Four Paws both you and your dogs will not be disappointed!

I have a small child in my house and decided that if we were to keep the dog we had to get a dog trainer in the home to correct some of his behaviors. My husband searched around on Craigslist and decided on Travis. When Travis arrived to our home he was very professional and prepared to immediately begin working. Within the first few minutes of Travis interacting with our dog we noticed a change in behavior. Clearly we were not interacting with him properly which is part of the problem. After the first lesson my dog was coming on command to his name and learning self control. After our second lesson he was learning not to bother my small child as he played nearby. We have 4 more lessons in our package but as of now we are definitely satisfied with the progress the dog is making.

She also struggled on walks because of the constant pulling to the point we worried she would hurt herself. We decided to start with a private session with Kilo One where they came into our home and worked on walking on the leash with her. It was immediately clear they knew exactly what they were doing and saw progress after just one session! We ultimately decided on sending our pup for a 3-week board and train where she could get more practice to help her cement all the basics down. After coming home we have noticed a huge difference. She responds much more consistently to all her commands (sit ,stay, down, place, kennel, etc.) but also is doing much better on walks! We were hesitant at first sending her away for so long but Jon and Haley were great! We got so many updates and pictures/ videos along the way that put us at ease. We would truly recommend Kilo One to all our friends and family, it has been a game changer! We look forward to continuing our pups training with them!
