We pre booked and pre paid for a taxi to pick us up on New Year's Day to try and avoid delay on what's known to be a busy night of the year. Unfortunately ABM don't seem to value their existing customers enough to prioritise pre bookings. Our taxi ended up turning up over two and a half hours late, leaving us standing in the cold for this entire time as each time we called the company to see where the service we had already paid for was, we were given an arbitrary time of between 10 and 20 minutes away. I understand delay on a busy night of the year but when you pre book and pre pay for a service to avoid delay, there is not really an excuse. Appalling customer service by the team in the office who told us to take it up with the taxi driver, which we weren't going to do as it clearly wasn't his fault. Ironically we received an automated text when we got back home saying "Book now to avoid disappointment" for future journeys. Very disappointed. read more
