I don't know how they have been in business so long. They screwed me over in 2003. They were…read moreunprofessional and ineffective. I ordered a spare tire for a car and they tried to sell me a wheel that came nowhere close to being compatible. The number and placement of screw holes didn't even match. They had my money and they told me I cannot have a refund. I wish I had cut my losses and let them steal my money at that point. Because it got much worse. Then they asked if I would leave my original wheel with them. They lost the original wheel somehow. I couldn't get out of work so my elderly mother went down there. She's a mild mannered woman but they aggravated her. She didn't tell me the whole story but I think she had to resort to having the Sheriffs office get the original wheel back. My mom wouldn't talk about it. It was that disturbing. I wish I hadn't involved my poor mother. I wish I had just gotten the wheel at the dealership or a tire store. I wanted to save money but it ended up indirectly causing all kinds of family problems due to the mix up. Just very disorganized. I am shocked they never went out of business. They caused me a lot of problems and unnecessary grief. I beg you to go somewhere else. Please. Trying to save money on used parts that may or may not get right is not worth having it affect your livelihood and your family.

After driving 1,000 miles, the engine was done, finished, trash. They are only there for money they have very bad customer service. Go elsewhere to spend your money, THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT. #boycottFayardAutoPartsW.B expressway

Avoid this place at all costs. If you must use Walmart Auto Center go to the Marrero Store, they…read moreare a 3 on the experience level. I walked in for a tire repair (nail) there were seven bays open with one bay being used for a tire change. I went to the service desk and three techs were standing around shooting the breeze with an associate on the phone. They all ignored me. I interrupted them and asked if they were open for business. A tech asked me what do you need, I told him and he said walk-ins will be helped after all the scheduled appointments were complete and that would be in three hours. I asked, are you serious? There was one guy working on the only vehicle in the place. He said they were all busy. Unacceptable. The Manager is D. Wilson. She runs a well oiled machine....NOT!

Ok the tires here are a good deal, I will give you that. The ppl in there are working hard and…read moredoing the best they can. However, they are clearly very miserable and there is a reason for that and if you buy tires here, you will find out what that reason is. Really it's two reasons which I will outline here: 1: there is only one line. The line is for: initially, figuring out which tires you want - which you cannot do without all the information from your car and its tires - which you are going to have to leave the line to acquire. When you return, you will wait in the line again before you can give them your information and select your tires. After that, you'll wait for them to put the tires on (which was reasonably fast). Then you will re-enter the building and stand in the line again in order to pay and get your keys back. as you can imagine, this clearly sucks and could be resolved with a second person doing half this job on another one of the register machines that they already have. 2: there is a rear door and (presumably to keep people from stealing using the door to the tire area to escape) , the door has a button in a plastic case that you may press to open the door that sometimes works and sometimes does not work unless one of the employees pushes a different button. IF AT ANY POINT someone comes near the button or the door or something in that area, a loud angry Claxon sounds. It sounds like this. "MEEEEAAAAAAAH!" This seems like it could on some level be reasonable, but the problem is it happens every 30 seconds at least. When you combine these two factors (the line and the Claxon) what you end up with is repeatedly standing in the same line and being blasted by a horrible sound while you and everyone else tries to accomplish their tasks as their stress meter increasesto unmanageable levels, as if you're in some kind of Faustian purgatory designed purely for human suffering. However, the tires are cheap.
