I have been coming to A&W Chiropractor for over 5 years, and I will never go to anyone else . I first walked in because i was suffering Sciatica nerve pain when I was 4-5months pregnant . I was in excruciating pain. When I went to my first adjustment, wow!!!! What a relief! They helped me keep the pain at bay all the way up to my due date and passed my due date. I've pulled muscles after giving birth and even then they do not fail to amaze me ! I go to the gym daily and tend to injure some muscles or cause tightness from time to time and again amazing work! I highly recommend Alex and Wendy of A&W Chiropractic Center. I have dealt with many types of sports injuries over the years, including a lower back herniated disc. I had never been to a chiropractor before, but this was the worst pain I can recall in a long time, and I knew that I needed help immediately. They were extremely accommodating with scheduling and fit me in that same day (which happened to be a Saturday). After my first visit, the severe pain had ceased. After just two more visits over the course of a week, I was back to my normal self. I'm shocked in the rapid improvement in such a short time, considering how much pain I started with. I went to become a new patient. They told me on the phone I was in network. When I got there I realized with the paperwork I wasn't. They tried to charge me like I was an in network when out of network with my low deductible is better for me. They were trying to get the out of network rate and have me pay my Copay. Scam artists. Make sure you find out if you are in or out of network with these people. They want their cake and eat it too. They will say it's to help you. I just got off the phone with my insurance and doing it the way they wanted they would have gotten $8 more a visit than if I paid what I was supposed to. Thanks for the "help" ... I would rather do it right! Their way would cost me $135 more in the long run! Don't be fooled! Know your benefits before negotiating with a place! You shouldn't pay a Copay if they are out of network!!! Period!!! They were not clear on the phone. They told me they were in network. They were not. read more

I wrenched my back pulling a tree limb after tropical storm Isaias that resulted in a pinched nerve. I was in such pain! I walked into Dr. Wendy's office and even though they were about to close they took me right away. Dr. Wendy adjusted me and in my decades of going to chiropractors I have never been pain-free so quickly! I was finally able to get a good nights sleep but I could reach down and touch my toes again! I have come here in pain a few times over the past year and 100% of the time my needs have been met and my pain has always felt better when leaving. Husband and Wife chiropractors whom give great adjustments. Choosing which Dr's adjustment is better is like choosing which child you love more. Both give great and different style of back adjustments. what i like best is that before each adjustment they provide you with stim and heat which makes you feel relaxed. My husband, child, and my mom have all been to A & W for their chiropractic needs.I have also sent my friend. I highly recommend them to all people who need to get out of pain or just be well. Also if you have a small child, their waiting area resembles roomper room and can be very entertaining to a child to play while their parent gets adjusted. this is a huge plus to me at times when i need to get adjusted and can't find child care. As someone who has once worked for a chiropractor before and had mixed experiences, I was hesitant to try A&W. But once I had a feeling I was out of alignment, my fiancé pushed for me to try these two out. It was one of the most positive experiences I've had with chiropractors. They didn't push a plan or anything in front of me and were constantly explaining what they were doing and why. Their bed side manner is better than most doctors and they were just friendly to be around. The space is clean and the staff is happy. They were always upfront about copays and billing. I injured my left shoulder along with my sternoclavicular joint in the beginning of February and started seeing a local chiropractor and physical therapist. After about 3 months of visits the pain and the range of motion were not improving. They both started telling me that it was age related I would just have to live with it and I would also need to cut back on my swimming and bike riding. Not happy with that I searched the internet for someone who had any experience in this type of injury and came across a YouTube of Dr. Alex adjusting a patient with a similar problem and decided to make an appointment. I was willing to drive 40+ minutes to find someone to help with my injury. At the first appointment Dr. Alex adjusted the shoulder/SCJ and taped the area. In about 3 days I took the tape off and the pain had minimized and the range of motion had improved. Since having a baby recently my back has been a mess- plus mine and my husbands jobs are both very physical. We've been looking for a great chiropractor as we've tried a few in town and haven't been very pleased. After a few clients recommending this place we went and have been very impressed. They took time treating me, they were very professional and really good with what they do.
