Wow! These guys are FANTASTIC. I got home from being gone all weekend & we had no water. No toilet, no shower nuthin. We used the pool water to flush the toilet that Sunday night. I called that Sunday night & left a message. About 7am I got a call from Twila & she had a pump guy here by 8:30am that very morning. Friday -10/27/23 6:30 am... Water pressure is not up to par. Went to the kitchen turned on faucet... no bueno! Out to the pump house to bang on the tank... oh no... it's empty. Up to the storge tank .... seriously?? You've got to be kidding me! Party is tomorrow night...not to mention tonight's shower! Oye!! Called A&S at 6:46 am and had a technician dispatched, who arrived at 8:00 am (ish). Adam , our technician was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and got right to the task at hand. He made sure to explain everything and was so gracious when asked him to explain it all over to my brother, who came to support me. lol. Living up in the eastern Fresno county foothills, there is often a wait for any service. When I needed immediate help, the receptionist was able to review my pump and helped me identify the problem without having to wait for service. Really professional and more concerned with helping me than making a few dollars. That type of commitment to community isn't seen anymore, absolutely my future go to if I need any pump services. read more

I called this company after my home insurance sent a different company out to check our well pump. The other company found the solution of not having water to our house by rewiring it (I asked what to do when the water level rose and he said they would have to come out and rewire it back to the correct way‍). They climbed up on the well and looked at the floats. When closing up the control box he decided to use "a stick" they found on the ground to hold the front cover on the pump box because they dropped the wire that was holding it. Their final answer to our entire problem was that we just need to drill a new well A & S was called because I didn't feel the other company was really thorough or had an answer to our problem. First thing he noticed was that the switch that brings water into the well was off . Adam (A&S) checked everything on our well and pump. He changed out a cracked float that he found (that the other company missed), lowered the float as it was pretty high on our tank so water would come to the house, and also checked the flow of the water from the well to the tank. He said it ran so long (longer than 5 minutes) that the water in the well is fine. He used a screw to replace the "stick" And mentioned that the way it was wired would eventually burn up the booster pump. A & S is so thorough when coming out to your home for any pump issues. I am skipping the insurance company and calling A & S first (even if it will cost a little more). So worth it!!! read more

The guys that come out are very professional and courteous. It's too bad Twila isn't like her employees. I had called to see how much A&S would charge to tie in my well. Apparently the front desk gal couldn't give me a quote. Said I'd have to talk to Twila. Every time I call (several) to talk to Twila, she's always in a meeting. Every time I would leave my phone number behind waiting for a response. The funniest thing happened. After two months, by now my Well has already been tied in by Rasmussen, she calls and asks what she could do for me. TWO MONTHS LATER. If you're a friend of hers, she'd miss your funeral by two months. Three stars for her employees only. Go with Rasmussen if you want quick and courteous response. read more

In the nearly 20 years that I have used A and S Pump, I have found them to be honest and incredibly responsive to my various pump needs. From numerous residential pumps to larger Ag pumps, they have always come through for our needs. Horrible service. I finally gave up after calling them for help after trying to get in touch with them for three business days in a row. "We are busy." "The person in charge will call you back." "She is in a meeting." "She is out of town." Why did I keep trying? They were referred and said to do a good job. Customer service is so important! They could have just called back saying they are too booked to help. read more

A&S Pump Service installed critical equipment for a water distribution system for a large RV park that we own in Sanger. These critical components subsequently failed and despite repeated contact, A&S has placed little importance on visiting the site to assess and/or address the failure with components they've installed. Twila, who proudly refers to herself as the "owner" of A&S, advised that A&S technicians were very busy and hard to schedule, even for such a critical issue that faced by a business depending on the water distribution system. She acted as if it were a privilege to do business with A&S(?). She found it "quite amazing" that the park could continue to get by with water distribution over the period since she was last contacted the week prior. However, she could not commit to when A&S Pump could actually have a technician contact the park to schedule a visit. She made light of the situation even joking about playing phone tag to eventually schedule something. I advised her that this was very unprofessional and that I would take all future business elsewhere. It would have been nice to know before having A&S Pump install critical equipment that their customer service would end post sale and installation and that there could be no expectation for expedient help if installed equipment might fail. They may be good on smaller residential projects, but I would think twice about using them for anything on a larger scale or that might be critical to efficient system operations where timely repairs may be required. read more

I am extremely happy with my recent experience with A & S pump. The other day, I well stopped working. I called A & S pump as they were the ones who had installed my well pump. Over the phone, they walked me through a couple quick tests to see if it was something simple. It was not. The next day a tech was at my house to diagnose the problem. They determined a break in one of the power wires inside the well. The next business day they were at my house with the large crane truck (a regular residential truck would not reach my well due to its location). A & S backed up their original work and I now have water. Thank You for the fast and honest service! read more

My well pump was intermittent and then stopped completely. Twyla got a service crew right out within 1 1/2 hours. Found and fixed the problem within a hour. Yay!! They always have been fast and good with me! read more

A few months after an A&S service tech examined the air compressor on my pressure tank, the tube from the compressor to the pressure tank detached. This caused my pressure tank to become waterlogged, causing substantial problems throughout the system. A different company advised they always put silicone on tube connections to ensure they don't detach like that. Also, one of the office staff members is very difficult to work with. I would have given one star except they did eventually honor a warranty claim on a different component of our system apparently caused by a separate issue. I honestly wish them well, but I don't recommend them. read more

We had a pressure valve on our well finally bite the dust after more than 20 years. My wife called on Sunday morning at 7am with the intent to leave a message. To her surprise someone answered; she was very helpful and gave us us instructions how to fix it. We decided to have them come out. The repairman, Jose showed up on Monday at 9:30am as promised; was friendly and professional. To date we are very satisfied and will use them again. read more

Called and spoke with service tech Saturday morning, although obviously swamped he walked me through a few steps on a well pump. Sure enough we found the problem by them taking the time to look at photos of possible problems. Went out of there way to help us out. Now we have full running water back to the house.
