I hired A & S contruction because they had done some work in our complex. Their bid was reasonable and they could start right away. This was the WORST experience ever! Although we agreed on a price, throughout the renovation, the owner kept giving sob stories about his car breaking down and his mother in law being ill and needing MORE up front money. It is the owner, his wife and another friend, relative? who does the work. They did now show up when we had meetings to review, they spent weeks only showing up once. They cracked my tub and simply left it that way, broke my television, smoked in my condo even after several requests not to, burning a hole in my new cabinets. They were paid for supplies that they either did not buy, or bought sub par materials that costs less than what they quoted. They are scammers, unprofessional and not qualified. I had to hire a new contractor to clean up their mess! What an expensive mistake. I am in the process of filing charges. Run from this company!!!! read more
