I asked to speak to someone in sales and she sighed, said "hang on." Then hung up on me. If this is how she answers the phone and treats customers, no wonder people have been telling me not to go there.

Before scheduling the repair, my husband asked Scott in the service department what it would cost to fix the vehicle. He was told twice that the repair would be between $1,100 and $1,200 out the door. Based on that quoted price, we dropped the Yukon off for the repair. After the work was completed, we were unexpectedly told the bill was over $2,000--nearly double the amount we had been quoted. When we questioned why the price had changed so drastically, we were not given a satisfactory explanation. This type of pricing is unacceptable and appears to be a classic bait-and-switch situation. Customers should not be quoted a price multiple times, authorize repairs based on that quote, and then be presented with a bill that is almost twice as much after the work is finished. To make matters worse, we called and asked to speak with Alex, the person in charge, but never received a return call. We expected much better customer service and communication from a dealership we previously trusted. We will be filing a complaint with the West Virginia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division so this matter can be reviewed. We hope Weimer Chevrolet addresses this issue promptly and works to resolve it fairly, because these are not the kind of business practices customers should have to experience.
