Each place I visited was kind, but AGI immediately went above and beyond. They didn't hesitate to engage in conversation with me, talking to me about what I was looking for, patiently explaining processes when I was truthful about feeling like a fish out of water (I felt like I had absolutely no clue what I was doing), and answered every question I had before I ever put in my first order. Once I received my prints it was the icing on the cake. Not only is the quality of the prints wonderful, but as an artist I was able to look at my images for the first time and see the total quality of my work. I am confident in providing my products to my clients and look forward to using Alpha Graphics for all of my printing needs in the future.

They do have spots out front but the first time I went I parked under the hill and it wasn't bad because it's all free parking. You just have to walk up the hill. It is right past the train track so make sure you are aware because the light rail passes through. I think the prices are really reasonable in this day and age when we still have to print things for marketing purposes and it's always nice as a local business versus a FedEx or Kinko and the service here is superior. They let you see a proof and they are really communicative.

I think the prices are super reasonable, I like the batch sizes, and I know they work in rgb rather than cmyk, but the only thing i do is make all of my colors and saturations a little bit lighter than I would have originally. They'll keep you up to date the entire way, and if anything looks grainy or weird they'll contact you BEFORE they print. Plus, if you're in DC (and have a car) they're really easy to get to for pick up. They're my first stop for any print job over 250 postcards.

After having a terrible experience with the last printer I went to, my good friend who works for an entertainment company suggested Grove Printing to me. Everything about the process was great: 1. You can order online. It was quick, easy and straightforward. Just make sure you don't forget to upload your file after your payment is processed. Also, I would recommend following up with a phone call if you have any order details outside the norm. 2. You can track your order status. 3. If you're ordering postcards, more often than not just go ahead and order 5,000. It's usually the best deal and they print these everyday, ready to go in 24 hrs. For example, I ordered 5,000 4x6 postcards, double sided, glossy for only $158 + tax. (The last place I went to tried to charge me 4x that amount, adding in rush fees and other nonsense.) On top of that, the gentlemen that work there are laid back, down to earth and really nice. Just one thing to note: This place is hidden. I mean, really hidden. Once you reach the location where you *think* you are supposed to be, you have to then drive up the alley to find the parking in front on Grove. They are basically hidden behind larger buildings. Oh, they also mentioned to me that they are one of the fastest printers on the East Coast! Who would have thunk?!
