This Walmart was suspiciously clean and almost too organized, like someone summoned it straight out of a suburban dream. Jaime in electronics was very nice and helpful and the night crew shuffled around w pallets like retail workhorses waiting for dawn. The real win here.... (shhh... its a secret) No 10-cent plastic bag tax (like in Cali)!! Sweet, sweet Midwestern freedom!!! THAT ALONE made us so excited!! Another plus was how empty the store was during business hours... not very much traffic, which was nice!! The parking lot, though... eerily empty!!!!!!!!! The kind of quiet that makes you wonder if the town's residents only come out after sunset. A perfect stop for restocking your mortal supplies before the vampires wake.

I have visited the Supercenters in Niles, Lake Zurich, Palatine, Waukegan, Wheeling, and this one in Gurnee. My favorite one is the Lake Zurich one followed by the Niles one. I can't remember what I went to purchase at this Supercenter on my recent visit, but the couple of times I have been here, I have found what I went to buy without any problems. Of the parts of the store I went to, I noticed that the store was clean and properly organized. The checkout process was easy. I would return to this store for my shopping needs if I am in the area.

Lewis Fresh Market certainly isn't one of those cramped little stores. Has a lot of produce and other items. The prices aren't the best but they're pretty comparable to other places. Best thing is the produce because it's all fresh. It's comparable to the Cermak Fresh Markets. There's a lot of Mexican and other Latino stuff in here along with some other countries too. Has quite a lot to go through so you can find many good items. There's a grill to order tacos and tortas. Also there's a hot bar and salad bar. Other popular areas include the bakery where they cut fresh loaves. Has even more produce outside, especially when they have pumpkins in autumn. The prices are okay for being fresh. For sure we could go here again if in the area. It's got a couple locations, including this one on Grand. The produce is considered to be the best stuff.

Something I do at all ethnic grocers. There's no organic vegetables available and there is a popular bakery which I did not patronize. Not a place to drive to but interesting to pick up some Mexican while in the area. I liked my carnitas by the pound & threw the spinach pies & cooked chicken in the freezer for those busy days.

Ale kapitalny sklepik.. i kanapki i zupki domowy roboty są wspaniałe!…read more I stopped here on a whim after googling local euro markets. I had no expectations beyond being able to grab some ham and maybe some frozen dumplings (Pierogi). Um. Hey now. This store is very deceiving. It's in a very nice strip center, but you don't quite understand how incredibly beautiful and well stocked it is from the outside. When you walk in you see beautifully stocked shelves with typical Polish and Slavic prepared items and pantry staples. Plenty of gift options from Polish Amber jewelry, to ceramics, to Polish branded merch. Adorably displayed throughout the store. The next surprise?? The sandwiches. I'm my humble opinion, an outstanding sandwich for the price. I was like a kid in a candy store and went a little bananas. Got 2 of the Euro clubs, a Rueben no kraut, and asked the chef to make me his choice (he made a zesty Turkey panini). I grabbed several soups...and the chef noticing my soup obsession, offered a freshly made mushroom barley which I was overjoyed to try. Everything was outstanding. Absolutely outstanding.

They had a fresh baked salmon Wellington that looked really delicious! I would have purchased it but we weren't going directly home. A very clean, neat and organized store.

I Went to the store and there in her section she had the 3 juices I reached into my pocket to give her a tip and she said no thank you I love my job here and I'm here to help. They have culturally authentic brands for everything. It is clean and organized. Their butcher does a great job and is friendly and personable with our family as we walk through his area, having conversations with my 2 year old about his chocolate milk selection.
