Rico was fantastic! I called another handyman service in my area and explained to them what was…read morewrong with my kitchen disposal as well as part of my back fence that needed to be repaired. They started giving me prices of new disposals and an estimate of how long it would take to replace. When I talked to Rico, he walked me through the steps I could try to fix the disposal myself. He told me if I wasn't able to or if I didn't want to, he would do it, but wanted to give me the chance to save a few bucks. It took me a few tries, but I was able to do it myself. I appreciated the help with the money saving and it really showed just how much integrity Rico has as he could have charged me to fix it or he could have sold me a whole new disposal, like the other company tried. When Rico arrived to fix my fence he took a look at it and told me I had two options, a cheaper option and a more expensive option. I told him I'd be happy to pay for the more expensive option if it meant my dogs wouldn't be able to escape again. He told me he was pretty sure he could make the cheaper option work and keep my dogs in my yard. He finished and had me come check and the fence is very sturdy - my two 70 lb German Shepherds wont be breaking through! And the best part? The final total for the job was 60% of the original "cheaper" estimate! I would have never known the difference and he could have easily charged me the full rate. We recently moved back to Houston and our house has other projects I need to tackle. I will absolutely be contacting Rico for help with those, as well as recommending him to friends and neighbors.

My only complaint is that the floor installers after me telling them not to use my neighbor's water hose, still use my neighbor's water hose and mine. Hours after they left, my neighbor called to tell me that her water had been running on full blast for who-knows-how-long, because they had left hours before she called me. The only way she realized it was because there was water flooding in the street. She told me to go check mine and yes my water hose was still running on full blast hours after they left. That was so inconsiderate of them. There were about five of them working, and they did a lot of work that day so I gave each a $20 tip. They did not say thank you, which seemed a bit rude, but I still think they deserve to tip because of the work they did. They did leave a few things undone such as not painting the shoe molding to match the floor, but I called Donnie and he had a different worker come over and finish up the few things that needed to be done that next day. Overall, after the whole process has finished I am definitely happy with my flooring. I just wanted to be sure to give an honest review of my full experience. I definitely would recommend this company. I would say the work is quality and beautiful.
