Would give negative stars if I could. Staff is rude; talks over customers and seems annoyed if you have questions. Def go anywhere else!!

I have been shopping at Dunham since I was a youth athlete in the 1980's. I have been in at least…read morefifteen of their stores and am sad to say that I have watched their service deteriate over the years. The positive of their Angola location is that is a well stocked store with a wide variety of items and litterally something for every sport. In general their prices are comparable to any brick and mortar store but seem higher across the board than what I can purchase online. When employees ask you to look on line for reviews or advice, they are encouraging you to make the purchase online. My issues are that their employees are woefully untrained and unknowledgable about the majority of their items. It seems like they are using a high school intership program to fully staff their store. Over the last few years it seems as if they have little knowledge of their inventory at all besides how to read a sku to check you out. I long for the days when this chain hired knowledgable sales associates or had a continual training program to educate their workers throughout their employment. While I realize they are running a store with skeleton crews to cut overhead, is it that hard to ask a coworker for advise or to help a customer if you can't. Honestly the employees try hard and seem friendly. I don't completely fault them for what the don't know, but more so blame the management for not developing their workers, identifying strong candidates while building a staff, correctly staffing the store, or retaining the good workers they sometimes have. Retail is a difficult industry, but if I ask a question while in the store, an employee should not ask me to check the reviews online because I may opt to purchase it online and that has become the case here more often than not. When I am at the lake, it is an hour round trip to come here and it is disappointing to return home with nothing and wait for it to be shipped online from somewhere online

Everytime I go in Angola Dunhams there are employees standing around talking. This time it was 3…read moreyoung employees talking about how they was abused as a kid. No one asked if I needed help. Then saw a girl putting shoes on a display. I said Do you work here. She says Ya. I asked if she had a size 10 in these. She says Ya. After handing me the shoes she said nothing else to me. Come on Get new management in there and Train these people. One word of advise if they have no enthusiasm in the interview chances are they wont in the store. At least act like your excited to be there and act like you like people. I don't go in very much and its been like this for 4 years.

I've been in the Gun business as a High-End Collector, Shop Owner (in AZ), and now as this is just…read moremy favorite hobby, but it's also a great investment and I enjoy collecting rare & new, high quality guns. It's not easy for these dealers, but with the Staff here, I have to point out 2 real stars in the industry who have become the face of this business for me as a high end collector who spends an average of $12-$20k per year on guns. The owner is a super guy and certainly helped get me going, but now it's Jackie W. & Mike G. (Jackie is the Ofc. Mgr. & I believe Mike is the Sales Mgr. - guessing on titles here), but truly they are the pillars that keep me coming back to Wrigleys TIME AND TIME AGAIN! In fact so much so that I've pledged they'll get ALL MY BUSINESS, until they close the doors! YOU WILL NOT FIND BETTER, MORE PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE & THOROUGH PEOPLE THAN JACKIE & MIKE. I simply can't sing their praises loud enough, and I recommend anyone, young or old, first time buyers or experienced shooters, should all end up buying here if you enjoy saving money, and compared to most stores, a LOT OF MONEY! But again if this staff or the owner were not here I would not be able to make such a serious pledge, of giving a store ALL MY BUSINESS. As a buyer you won't be disappointed, there are no condescending attitudes (for that treatment please visit the old H&H Firearms, now called 21st Century Firearms, as I think their employees all went to the same prison, "err Charm School"). Compare prices, EVEN ONLINE, and you'll see firsthand that their prices CANNOT BE BEAT, but more importantly I have a rapport with them from day one that has progressed into me being treated as a VIP, and I've done special orders, custom orders, and just about every "picky" thing you can think of, and Jackie and Mike simply smile, write it down and call me when it's in. I arrive to the item having been completely looked over very thoroughly, and everything neatly repacked in it's factory boxes. This is simply Jackie & Mike going the extra mile to ensure nothing is missing, damaged or in any way unacceptable by a customer. You will NOT find this service at ANY gun shop in the state that I've visited, and I've been to most at one time or another, from as far South as Seymour/Indianapolis area to as far North as Gary I have yet to experience the quality of customer service I get consistently at Wrigley's so I can only conclude that everyone who's not visited them yet get a price at your favorite or first gun store, then visit Wrigley's and ask a few questions and shop their wide selection of quality guns. It took me one and ONLY ONE VISIT to figure out that I would be giving them all of my business in the future, and I have no regrets! My sincerest thanks and accolades go out to Jackie & Mike and I do hope their boss Mike Wrigley reads this as he should know that these 2 are a big part of the motivation I have for coming back time and time again!!! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO! I WISH I COULD GIVE YOU BOTH A RAISE! YOUR FRIEND & LOYAL CLIENT, A.S.T. (Ft. Wayne)

I've made several deals with these guys and never left feeling cheated. They are fair on trades…read more Some guys think they should get market price for their trade, that's not happening anywhere. The prices seem to be as good or better than most places around Ft. Wayne and the owners are friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help you even if it's saving you money. Good selection of firearms or will order what you want. They also keep politics to a minimum, which is nice.
