I think the photos speak for themselves! I requested an interior detailing: A&E Mobile Detailing got my business because they were the first detailing business that responded to me! Clear communication all the way through the process; lovely customer service; they are a mobile business, which was super convenient; they did a job well done! Detailing is not cheap & I won't say that the job was cheap, but A&E's pricing is reasonable, clearly stated on their website, and the quote was given up front. I want to support and work with local/small businesses, and after the fact...I'd say the job was worth every penny. Thank you Austin! read more

No good! This is the response I got from this guy? He responds with X and Y's coupled with I probably meant something else? I was verbally told by him if it rained the day scheduled he would come the next day, then he is rude. I wouldn't do business with someone that doesn't even know what gas lighting is. Then to add insult to injury he gas lights look at his response. Ego out of control. From Austin: Offering you tomorrow was probably a first option. Saying I can do it either x,or y day to give you two options to choose from. You picked today, within minutes after that conversation I already had other people scheduled for the following day. Call the people for Monday if you don't want to wait but we can do without the gas lighting. read more

My car needed some love and A & E Mobile Detailing brought it in spades. Along with a top to bottom general cleaning, they were great at getting out the pizza grease stain that was on the backseat. I'm so glad that I don't have to smell 3 week old pizza on my way to work every day anymore. They charged me exactly what the estimate was, which was very reasonable. Absolutely excellent service, I could not be happier. They texted ahead of time to let me know that they were on their way and when they would be here. They did a very thorough job, and were very accommodating and understanding with my elderly grandmother, who wanted to be nosy and check in on them several times haha. We gave the detailing as a gift. A & E is a good job on cleaning the interior of a very dirty car. However, they charged an extra $100 WITHOUT having checked with the owners first. They insisted to the owners that the extra charge is "all over our website." I went back and checked and the possibility of extra cost is in small print at the very bottom of the price list. I had to search for it and did not find it anywhere else. I am very disappointed in the lack of integrity of the A&E owners. Consumer Beware!! read more

A&E did a fantastic job cleaning our family SUV. As the primary family vehicle transporting 3 elementary aged children it was a mess when they started, and looked great when they finished. They vacuumed everywhere and all the leather & hard surfaces were clean & shiny, and the outside was sparkling clean too. A&E did an excellent job on my vehicle. It is so shiny now. They arrived promptly at my apartment with a phone call in advance. Their mobile unit has everything they need to detail your car. I chose the full service detail package. They washed and waxed my vehicle, and even buffed the hood to remove some streaking that I had mentioned. They removed all of the bugs and tar, shampooed the mats, conditioned the leather, detailed the doors and door jams, and even cleaned the headliner! These are a few of the features that stood out to me. There's no substitute for such a professionally run business. I will definitely be employing their service again. read more

I reached out for a quote for detailing my 2007 volvo sedan. Austin responded immediately by email and then gave me a call. I explained to him that I had just bought a used car and wanted it detailed. He asked if I wanted the carpets shampooed or steam cleaned. I explained to him that I'm not accustomed to selecting services without knowing the prices and it would be helpful to know the prices so that I could respond, "sure that sounds great," or "no, let's do the other since that is out of my price range." He stated that they try not to focus on cost, but more on doing a good job and customer service. I reiterated I'd like a ballpark of what a detailing on my sedan (note: old car and not an SUV) would run me. He said with "what you want, with shampooing and everything it will be between 250 and 400." I gasped. Dollars? Between $250 and $400 dollars??? I just moved here from Los Angeles one of the most expensive cities in the country and I have never spent more than $150 including clay and buffing out of my headlights! I told Austin that and said that I was shocked by his quote and there was no need to converse further and said goodbye. I then arranged a detail with someone who has their prices listed ($135) and said they would be out 8:30am the next day. I then received a call back from Austin stating he felt our conversation went in the wrong direction. I told Austin I have never in my 57 years received a quote like that for a car detail and God Bless him if he is able to get people to pay that kind of fee for "shampooing and everything." Austin then got aggressive with me and said, "Where do you get off being so entitled as to tell people how to run their business?" I'm not sure where I told him how to run his business, but I do find his prices and his style of marketing personally outrageous. read more

If you're using any other car detailing service, you should stop and consider moving over to A & E Mobile Detailing. I've tried most NoVA detailing services and nothing has compared to A & E! Their personal customer service and responsive communication made working with them worth every penny. Austin texted me within an hour of leaving a message with them. I was in a bind on time and Austin made sure he could accommodate my schedule as I had to leave Charlottesville the next day. So later that day, Austin and Rosa came by to assess the car and give a detailed estimate on the time and cost. Then, we scheduled a convenient time for them to come back and detail my car. I love that they come to you - I didn't have to take my car anywhere! Compared to other places where I have to drop off my car and come back and get it, this was a breeze. After they were done, my car was spotless both inside and out. My car is 11 years old and I'm trying to give it as much life as possible to make it last...with A & E's work, my car looks like it just walked off the lot. I will never go to anyone else from now on! I'm so happy to know that they service the NoVA area and not just Charlottesville. I will be using them from now on! They didn't miss a single thing.
