With my yard being cut one direction one week and another direction the next. What happened in reality was their equipment didn't fit through my gate, so the backyard had to be push mowed. On occasion the crew forgot the mower and had to come back, twice I had to call. Today I received a bill with a $20 charge for blowing the grass clippings off of my yard because it wasn't cut for 9 days and it was long. Not my fault, they cut the grass on their schedule. I complained about this charge and also about the poor service. Paul, instead of being professional, cancelled my service. He didn't try to make it right or call, he just sent me an email that my service would be canceled.

The project we did remodeled a huge section of our kitchen and dining room building a second story even. They helped us through every step of the project. From the initial design estimates, to iterating on our ideas and providing feedback, to helping select trims and finish, and then building the entire extension. They were always patient with us when we needed more time to think about the project, but they were always immediately responsive when we needed their input. They are certainly a premium contractor, but for a project of that scale, it was not something that we could have ever hoped to accomplish on our own. It certainly made sense for us to pick a excellent contractor who would be prepared for every scenario. And that is what we got with Frey. With a project of this size, I think common knowledge would cause the average person to assume that there would be substantial delays and setbacks. but the entire time we worked with Frey, there from the day they broke ground to the day it was done, they didn't slip a single deadline. Their staff was always incredibly professional. The subcontractors that they worked with were top notch. You could tell that the people who were here working on our home really cared about the project and wanted to make it good and make it right, and they would redo parts of it if they weren't done correctly. we really appreciated the attention to detail. There were many times when I thought that they went above and beyond to help make the remodeling project go smoothly. Notably, they helped move all of our appliances and counter surfaces into our living room so that we could continue to live out of our living room while our entire kitchen was being demoed and remodeled. I just want to say that Slater and his crew really know their work! They were on time, The equipment was in great shape. He had the correct climbing gear for trimming branches high up in those trees. When they arrived, Slater discussed the job with us that they were going to do. Him & his crew were very meticulous about the work that was performed on our property. They were careful driving on our lawn, cutting down and cleaning up branches and large hunks of wood, also did a good job removing the stumps and cleaned up all the mulch, as well as replacing black dirt in the holes where the stumps had been removed! They also reseeded & mulched with straw. We had grass growing within a week and a half, and now you cannot even tell there were trees in those spots.
