I called him and inquired about his services and informed him of the size of my yard and he said it wasn't worth his time to even consider doing it. Even though they're out of Wisconsin Dells, they do a lot of business in Madison. It's owned and operated by a lovely couple. They were charming, and I really enjoyed talking with them as I was moving things out of the way. The difference between before and after was striking. It was my own mistake to get carpet protection (Scotchgard). Even though it was a smart move, I wish they had told me it would take longer for the carpeting to dry. Remember, I was in a hurry. My other concern - this was expensive. I have a small 1 BR apartment - only about 700 sq. ft. Cleaning plus Scotchgard ran $350! That seems high to me, but they did come after a regularly scheduled job on almost a moment's notice. If I paid extra for the rush, it was worth it.
