Youssef and all of his subs are *FANTASTIC* and the best I have ever worked with (and I've worked…read morewith many). Here why (with details below): He OWNS the work and takes full responsibility for everything and fixes every mishap BEFORE you even ask; His primary subs (carpentry, electrical, flooring, trim) are all GREAT; he's one of the easiest, kindest, and most compassionate people I've worked with; and he knew when to tell me when an idea or suggestion I had was infeasible or too expensive. More deets: On OWNERSHIP and RESPONSIBILITY - Our shower glass walls were a little short. I didn't even know enough to know this was a solvable problem, but he made the third-party glass company take the segments back and replace them with segments that fit even more perfectly and beautifully. There we a couple of other instance and there was never accountability squirm.... Honestly that's unlike 95% of contractors. ADVICE - If the lighting wasn't going to work or look nice, he told you. If the switches we're in the wrong place in the blueprint, he told you. If a door or opening would have been better served with a pocket door instead of a swinging door, like into a bedroom closet, he told you. He told you nicely, politely, never insinuating that I did not know what I was doing or that the architect was bad or wrong. He'd just politely and slowly walk me through a few different scenarios and the real life placement of things and was 100% right in all of his corrective suggestions. The one time I did not listen to him and thought I knew better, after a few months I realized I was completely wrong. MAIN SUBS - Whenever his subs were scheduled to show up, they did, on time, always clean-cut and professional, smiling, and happy. They cleaned up EVERY DAY. Other previous contractors thought nothing of leaving trash on the floor or even dangerous nails when I had small children in the house. I think he is one of, if not, the BEST IN THE BUSINESS and I plan on doing more with him in the future.

We met with Chuck and when he first came out to do the original estimate, he measured everything, and talked through finish options with us and was very detailed during the process. Charles and Philip came out to spray the cabinets and they were very nice and careful while working inside the house. They were also always on time which was really appreciated. The installation process of putting the doors back on only took about a day to finish. We also had a few drawer tracks that were broken and Tim fixed those so they now open and slide very easily. Overall, we were extremely happy with how everything turned out. We will definitely be working with them again later on this year to finish our laundry room and bathrooms!

Tim also took the time to repair the components that had been damaged over the years so all the doors and drawers function like they are new again. You can tell they are a very hardworking and efficient team by the way the entire project was managed. Very good communication throughout the entire process and the pricing was very fair for all the work they did. Thank you for doing my project and I would recommend them to anybody in Phoenix looking for a big cabinet upgrade!

Pricewise, from the companies we interviewed, Tacheny was in the upper mid-range. One of the reasons we opted to go with them is we have Solar panels and they have their own Solar contractors to remove the panels. That saved us about 2K based on pricing from Solar companies that do the same work. There were a couple of issues we noticed after the initial roof repair was completed. We talked to our site manager, Mahkobi, and he looked over the areas of concern and got those fixed. The drywall repair was exceptional and there were no issues whatsoever. Even though we had to address some of the roofing issues, I felt the office and site manager kept us in the loop, listened to our concerns and addressed the issues to our satisfaction. I would recommend this company for any exterior work you might need on your home.

Outstanding. Absolutely outstanding. Ethical, personable and genuinely interested in our…read moresatisfaction. True professionals with good hearts. They rebuilt our flood damaged home and performed many remodeling upgrades at the same time. They offered sensible solutions and worked around our busy schedules. Calls were returned promptly and questions answered always. All of their subcontractors were people they had worked with for many years and were clean-cut, articulate craftsmen. They cleaned up after every days work and kept us up to date on progress. When we made changes along the way, they took it in stride and offered options to best achieve our goals. Our home was built in 1959 and had unique lath and plaster drywall. The materials are no longer available, but in order to retain the original quality of the home, they found a method that was similar enough to look the same and have the same sound when I did the "knock test". They did many extras, like painting the front sidewalk-"it just didn't look right all chipped up" and made a new side gate as well- at no added charge- because it was the right thing to do. They understood what we were trying to do- bring the house back to original quality and remodel it for sale. To give you an idea of what kind of guys thy are, on the weekends, they volunteer at Habitat for Humanity and use their skills to built homes for the disadvantaged in the Valley. Good souls. Jeff navigated us through a maze of options to get our electric upgraded without kicking us into a higher permit level that would have resulted in us having to lower windows for egress- at an estimated $26k. Instead, they offered legal, ethical alternatives that got the goals achieved within our budget. They know the ins and outs of the business and use it to YOUR advantage. True professionals. I'm an engineer, so I'm a detail person by nature, and BHB left no details missed. Their quality is top notch as well, and they came in below our insurance estimate. I highly recommend them for jobs big and small. Good people.

This review is only regarding a quote for work…read more We had made a general request on Yelp for a quote on grading we needed to be done in our yard. While this particular job didn't seem to be in the wheelhouse for this business, they responded to the request and I extended the benefit of the doubt to invite their bid. Eddie came to the door a bit earlier than agreed and I greeted him. As we began our discussion of the work, a couple younger guys came out of the sedan they'd arrived in and up to the door. I couldn't tell if this was his crew as all were casually dressed, none wore uniforms or hi-vis, and Eddie didn't introduce them. Eddie was nice enough, but due to what was posed as a language barrier he spoke in Spanish with one of the younger guys. This same person was completely unprofessional in dress and behavior: sweat pants, slides, sipping on a Sonic soda, leaning on my house, walking across my yard and leaning against the window sill while Eddie and I were talking. The other young guy seemed respectful enough, but followed this one across the yard and stood with him. Eddie seemed keen to get me a quick quote within the first 10 minutes of meeting him, eager to commit to starting the work quickly without measuring or much discussion. The quote seemed a bargain, but the other behavior made it feel potentially questionable, so I clearly stated we were collecting bids for the work and I needed to discuss this with my husband before committing to anything. While we needed more than the front yard graded I chose not to invite them any further onto my property as I felt very uncomfortable. This was the 4th bid we had received on the work needed and was by far the least professional. We do not plan to use their services for the work we need done.
