When I contacted the manufacturer about my product, they quickly set up an appointment for service the next day. I was worried that the money I just paid upfront, without any visual inspection, could be wasted during the technician's visit due to other issues and that they might not know how to fix my appliance. In just 15 minutes, the owner of the company of A&D Appliance, Andrew Delo, and his technician diagnosed the problems and ordered the parts. if you have a warranty for any of your appliances and A&D is the service provider you are in TROUBLE, they charge you and then you have to deal with them. Their service is LOUSY- if they show up and tell you that you need to replace your appliance and do nothing you still have to pay them- you have just been SCAMMED!? Worse than the fact that a repair tech came 3 times and was late each time is that he broke our otherwise functioning washer. After the first visit when he could not loosen a nut, we sensed his incompetence and asked for a different tech. They would not comply, so he returned two more times, and smashed part of the machine to get to the nut, rendering the washer useless. Did the job as requested for a reasonable price. Came on time, communicated with technician by text. I knew exactly what needed to be done, had the part ordered (new stove assembly) and it was fairly straight forward. If I hadn't have done the legwork this might have necessitated multiple trips or attempts to fix. So my advice is: learn as much about the issue as you can, send pics and videos, and these guys will fix the problem safely and efficiently. My tech was named Carlo and was totally on top of things and friendly/knowledgable. read more

Avoid at all costs. I would have left no stars if I could. We ordered a suite of appliances for my work place's kitchen, and the stove didn't work. The installer said that they would call for repair since it should be a simple fix. They called A & D because they are an authorized Frigidaire repair shop. They set up an appointment, came out, said they had to order a part. The already knew what was wrong because the installers had given that information and they should have already had the part. They scheduled us between 12-4 on the following Thursday. I think they just want to bill Frigidaire for extra visits. Thursday comes, it's going on 5 and no tech. I call and the person who answered the phone said "hold on, I'll call the tech." She hung up on me. I called back and they were closed. Sometime between 5 & 5:30, the guy gets here. He doesn't stop at the desk to let us know he's here, he goes straight up to the kitchen. Someone on that floor called me to say "I think the tech is here, he went into the staff room on his own." I go up and the guy has the stove pulled out but he seems like he doesn't know what he's doing. He asks if a licensed electrician put in the grounded socket, complaining he's not getting the right voltage. He doesn't seem to be installing any part, and just keeps going back and forth between the diagram on the back of the stove and the electrical socket. Finally he says "I have to call Frigidaire to see how to fix this, but they closed at 5." If he had been here when he was supposed to be here, he would have been able to call them! I called A & D back this morning to see when this would be resolved and the woman who answered (who never gives a name, btw), gave some feeble excuse about the guy coming to my house. It's not a house, it's a business, and I want to know when they're coming back because I had scheduled the day off and didn't want to drive in if I didn't have to. She tells me she has no idea when she can reschedule the tech because he didn't hand in the paperwork from yesterday. FFS. I called the appliance dealer and explained what was going on. My salesperson said he had no idea about any of this and would call over to see who scheduled with A&D. I then get another call from the appliance dealer's customer service department, apologizing for all of this. They are going to follow up and get back to me, but told me that they had lodged a formal complaint with their Frigidaire rep because A&D has horrible customer service and doesn't repair things correctly. I doubt I will hear anything until after the Labor Day holiday, but be warned and stay far away from A & D. read more

I have an LG refrigerator that I purchased in April of 2021. I has operated flawlessly until the early morning hours on Thanksgiving Day 2024. Apparently I hadn't opened the freezer door in over 24 hours and I possibly opened the refrigerator door for maybe 15 seconds. In doing so I hadn't noticed the unit was off. After realizing everything in the top and bottom was warm, way warm. The interior lights were on. I read the manual and performed the test to see if any alarms codes popped up. Nothing. I called LG service after cleaning out the entire contents of the refrigerator and freezer. I told them, being I am involved in maintenance I am almost positive the compressor has stopped working. They gave me a ticket number and said someone will be in contact. To my surprise the following morning at 8:10am I received a call from A&D Appliance in Prospect Park NJ. The dispatched informed me a service tech is on the way. At 9:45am, Didier Rincon showed up with a new compressor in the box. He proceeded to remove and install the new compressor in a very timely matter. I will say I have been around hundreds of service techs in my 50 plus years in the pharmaceutical industry. Didier is 100% on the ball and new exactly how to replace that compressor. He did an excellent job. Hats off to Didier and A&D Appliance. I don't normally write reviews. They had someone come who didn't even know how to speak English not one word , no joke , for the service call ..he was at my house for about 20 minutes talking Spanish and then he left .. then an hour later the owner calls me and says I have to charge you $115 for the service call. I said OK when are you going to come to fix the Samsung refrigerator ? He told me he had to order the parts and will call me ... I gave him a call a week later and he said we are still waiting for the parts ,,, Well, it's been almost 3 months later and I haven't gotten a call back. If I could zero Stars. Because of Andrew their supervisor. This man called me to yell and yell more and on top of that their team did damage to my dishwasher. And Andrew said he would replace the door but at the end just hung up the phone. He kept yelling at me what do I want and on top of that he left the nasty voicemail. This place came five times and keep in mind it's 2 times per rapair .so it was a total of 10 times and it's always for the same error code and keep in mind this is a 2-year-old dishwasher. It is the famous LC error code for Samsung dishwasher. On top of that they forgot their tools under the dishwasher. And they chipped the top of the dishwasher door and dented the bottom dishwasher and tore the rubber gasket. And this gasket that they tore is supposed to go behind the kickstand but they left it out exposed and torn. How bad is it my warranty company is sending over a different company. So save yourself the trouble and do not hire these people. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED!!! The technical failed to fix a simple problem under warranty (power supply for the freezer light needed replacement) on the first two visits. The technician was rude and unprofessional in both those visits. Not only that, but he somehow also broke my ice maker in the process. I was yelled at by the owner for simply asking if they could come on a weekend after they had failed to fix it the first two times so I didn't have to miss a 3rd day of work. To the owner: I'm not the one who agreed to do warranty work when you get paid less to do those jobs! I'm not the one who took a job that was "too far away!" Do not yell at your customers for decisions that you made and having incompetent technicians! They came for a warranty service repair (clogged drain) and send a 'junior' tech. He fixed the problem but couldnt figure out how to put the fridge back together (even pulled up youtube vid). He had to leave and hours later a more 'senior' tech came, unsuccessful as well. Next day they sent the 'pro'. Guy was singing as he walked into the house, did what was needed and left. Horrible people. My dishwasher is leaking for 2 months now. I have a one year old who crawls through the kitchen floor. I have multiple walls damaged by now (added pic for by basement ceiling). Told them multiple times. But A&D keeps dragging it. The technician stopped by for 2 mins and ordered a part. Ofcourse did not fix the issue. Then they told me they were waiting for another part for a week. Then they sent tech again who diagnosed again and said order another part. They won't even give you any clear answers. finally a tech was supposed to come within 8-12 and he did not come. I got a call from a random number around 1 pm and did not pick as I was in office all. They told me that's why he did not come. Now Andrew from A&D was literally yelling at me for not being patient with him. First he told me you got a text (added image below) why you did not respond. I told him that the text does not ask for any response. Then he started yelling at me that i am only talking and not listening.. What a way to treat a customer. Horrible company that just does not care. If the man Andrew that I spoke with was actually the owner he needs a course in customer service. Original appt with warranty work for my stove was thurs afternoon which they cancelled due to the weather. New appt made friday am from 8am-12pm. I kept calling them and the receptionist just says hold please finally at 11:55am I said I can't wait I need to get to work if they are not coming. after being on hold again (numerous other calls lasting 10-12 minutes) she says the guy will come in an hour to hour and a half tops. Still no call from anyone, I called back again and asked for a manager and the guy was flat out rude. He says "it happens what can I do". Did not apologize at all and went on to say how he was in the military and is doing so great with 3 homes, a beautiful wife and kids. Like really....I just lost a days pay or vacation over your ignorant company with RUDE employee's. lets see how they succeed. I had a terrible experience with this company today. They did not show up for a scheduled appointment and offered no explanation. My Frigidaire Gallery induction stove has been beeping incessantly, waking my wife and me up in the middle of the night for no reason. A & D was scheduled to come today between 8 a.m. and noon. At 11:03 a.m., I received a text from the technician, saying he would arrive in 1 minute. However, he didn't come. When I contacted the company 45 minutes later, they said his navigation system had failed, but it had just been fixed and he would be there soon. But he never showed up and never contacted me again. I had an appointment yesterday between 12-5pm for an appliance repair. I waited the entire 5 hours honoring the time frame they game me but nobody showed up nor a courtesy call was made to me that the technician was not coming. When I finally called at 4:58pm, I got an automated message that my appointment was rescheduled without my knowledge and approval on the time it was rescheduled. Our LG fridge compressor of two years broke. LG contacted A & D appliance repair. A guy came and said he only had a universal compressor and his company would need to order a custom one. The part was suppose to come in July 23rd and still no part. It's confusing as I can't seem to get an answer when I have called several times as to where the part is and when they can come and fix our fridge. I will never purchase an LG fridge again or use this company. Not reliable, and no clear answer as to when it can be fixed. Also, they tried to charge me the first time they came of $115 with just a service charge and they didn't even fix anything. It's been over a month and still no fridge. I had a problem with the timer knob on my GE dryer. Someone told me to call A&D so I did. I gave the info to Andrew and he had a new knob sent to me in two days. IT WORKED! A&D are a bunch of amateurs. They came a month ago and identified a problem with our dryer - they said they need to order a part and would be back. Today is the second time this month I have stayed home from work for them to come and fix the dryer. And for the second time the technician shows up without the part. When they call to schedule the appointments, they are rude - and they also don't know what they are supposed to be fixing. They arranged the first check, I had to take a day off from my work and the employee showed up on time. After that, the technician arranged a second visit after he ordered the parts that he needed to repair. After receiving the parts, he arranged a visit on Friday after 5 pm, however the technician called me and rescheduled it for Saturday by himself. He showed up late on Saturday almost 2 hours. I was still okay since this kind of things might happen. Then the technician informed me that the A&D APPLIANCE REPAIR sent wrong items. He couldn't fix anything. I called A&D APPLIANCE REPAIR to get information and ask for another visit since they didn't fic anything. The person on the phone was rude, disrespectful and impudent. He shouted at me on the phone since I asked for a late schedule if possible. He was shouting as "I AM NOT DONE WITH MY TALK, LISTEN TO ME", I was in shock. I don't understand how that representative work in that position. I believe he better check for some anger management program as well. Everybody can have a bad day, you cannot yell at your customers for a job which you couldn't do. They are bad at communication, they are bad at services. ADDITION : He called me after this review! we had these guys come out two times to repair our dishwasher. It was leaking from the right side door. The came out, said we needed a part and left to order it. Part came in, we set a date, I took off from work and when they called me, when they were 30 mins away and I did not answer, they simply moved on to the next appt, WITHOUT even letting me know. Just one call, 30 mins before the start of my appt window.....then left me hanging. I was home, I took off for them, but they don't care. Then, we set another appt. They come out, install the part, leave (after we tipped BOTH of them) and when we ran the dishwasher, it STILL leaked, from the SAME place. I called the repair guy himself, who spoke barely any English and he said I needed a new dishwasher. HUH? So i called the dispatcher, who said I had to open a case with Electrolux directly to get a new unit. I hung up, called Electrolux and A&D had already called and told them that i refused service. I told them that I did in fact have service that day (crappy service, but service none the less) Electrolux and I finally got it straightened out.....but these guy stink so use someone else. It then took another 10 days for the 2nd technician to come with the part. But the wrong part was ordered. Incompetence and terrible service. These guys have wasted 2 days from work to do absolutely nothing. I have a brand new double wall oven that has unbalanced convection fans. Makes the whole oven vibrate and rattle. You can literally see the fans wobble when they spin. The tech showed up the first time and wasn't prepared to deal with a double wall oven, requires 2 people and an oven dolly to remove from wall cabinet. I overheard the entire conversation when the tech called Frigidaire's support and the support told him what was wrong, and that he needed an oven dolly to remove the oven to get at the back to service the fans. Since A & D wasn't prepared to remove a double wall oven (250 lbs), they rescheduled for another day when they will have another person to assist. That day came, one guy showed up, no oven dolly, clearly with no intention of performing the work suggested by Frigidaire support. Instead he said, "its because the 2 anti tip screws aren't attached to the oven" and then left. This is nonsense, the oven had been installed properly with the anti-tip screws. He didn't screw in the 2 screws or do anything else, but put "Not technical problem" on the service sheet. Besides the fact that his suggestion was complete nonsense, the oven had the same issues when it was screwed in. I took the screws out prior to his arrival because I knew they needed to remove the oven from the cabinet. A couple screws in the face of the oven frame don't magically straighten unbalanced fan shafts. A & D are clearly incompetent and have no desire or ability to fix problems. read more

First visit the technician had attitude and didn't even bother to look at the machine properly, consequently on the second visit they brought the wrong part, third time they were scheduled, I took the day off work and they just didn't show up, fourth time they forgot to put me on the schedule when they said they had (another wasted day off work) and 5th time today they promised to show up at 10am and it's now the end off the day and they bailed AGAIN, giving me some pathetic excuse that was probably a lie.
