Could not have gone smoother! I'd also like to add that they were available with very short notice (3 other pet sitting companies were unable to handle our request). Also want to add that Stewart (when he came for the home visit) was wearing a mask and gloves to protect against COVID (a welcome sight). Pet owners would should have their minds at ease if they select Love Those Paws. If I go on vacation again (few and far between these days) I would definitely use them again!

The sitters vary but all are enthusiastic based on the reports they leave. After every visit the sitter leaves a note of when they came and left and what they did. They also usually text us an update and a picture of our birds. We come back to a stack of reports. The sitter stays a while after the food, water, and paper are changed to make sure the birds aren't acting weird, and I hear that some singing goes on. We've never had a problem and have be accommodated at very short notice when we want to go away for the weekend. I highly recommend this company. 1/27/20 Update: Just used them again during a ten day trip to Hawaii. I'm pretty sure our birds are in love with Alex, who came for most oF the visits. One experience comes to mind as a huge help. I was on a plane coming back from London and my kitchen ceiling started to flood. They found a bucket in the house and put it under the drips, called me, and sent a video to my phone. When I landed I was able to schedule a plumber right away to meet me at the house. By having the bucket in place they prevented untold damage to the kitchen and basement. They've been easy to schedule and work with and respond quickly to e-mails. When I come home my little dude is always happy, well fed, and has plenty of water in his dish. If I wasn't moving far away, I'd definitely continue using their service. Before heading over today, I specifically checked their website to confirm the cutoff time for the self-wash on Saturdays. The website said 4:30 PM, which is already a full 90 minutes before their 6 PM closing time. I hightailed it over there with plenty of time, only to be told when I arrived that the last self-wash is actually 4 PM. So, to be clear: you close at 6 PM, your website tells customers 4:30 PM, but when they arrive, you tell them the cutoff is 4 PM. Make it make sense. Unfortunately, this is not my first frustrating experience here. On a previous visit, they refused to clip my dog's nails because they claimed he was "too aggressive." Let me add some context: my little dog is 14 pounds soaking wet and has never had an issue getting his nails clipped anywhere else. Meanwhile, during one of my visits, a dog they were servicing actually jumped on me and nearly knocked me over. So apparently my 14-pound dog is too "aggressive" to have his nails clipped, but a dog in their care can jump on a customer and nearly knock her down? How's that for aggressive behavior? And that was on top of dogs throughout the facility barking their heads off and pulling their owners on their leashes. Yet somehow, my tiny dog was singled out as the problem. At a certain point, repeated experiences like these leave you wondering why a business seems so determined not to serve you. I cannot say what motivates the treatment I've received, but as a Black customer, I would be lying if I said these experiences have not left me questioning whether bias, including racial bias, played a role. What I do know for certain is this: Wagging Lounge will never see me or my money again. There are too many businesses that actually value pet owners, communicate their policies accurately, and make customers feel welcome for me to keep giving this place another chance. I've given them enough chances. I'm done.

We had a great discussion getting to know them and how Mud would be cared for while we were gone. Before doing the exam the team and Dr. Mulford did everything to make her feel comfortable. They were beyond helpful and nice.
