Time was now to replace. We received bids from various roofers. For various reasons they were problematic. Some were way too expensive. Some just were not trustworthy. Some used out of town laborers. Then I met Mervin Beiler after being referred by a contractor friend who had referred others to him. As soon as you meet him you know that he is solid. On time. Clean cut. Clear communicator. Professionally dressed. Thorough with his review of the job site, the estimate, and in answering questions. I learned that he leads a team of three craftsmen who live in the Bitterroot. They are fully licensed and insured. Just what we wanted. On top of that, he was willing to work with me on the bid, suggesting options that saved on our spend. Mervin and the guys spent a few weeks at our home. We got to know them well. They started early each day, using equipment that felt very cutting edge in terms of quality and safety. Our roof line is somewhat complicated, but they executed their job with precision. They were always respectful of my family, stopping what they were doing, without complaint, if we had questions. At the end of each day they thoroughly cleaned the job site, including using a large magnet on wheels to minimize the possibility that a screw or piece of steel had escaped the eye in our yard. Beiler Roofing removed our old roof, replaced 6 skylights with custom work, installed new metal roofing, and installed snow breaks. Everything looks beautiful. We couldn't be happier.
