We built a house 3 years ago and Central Ga Heating and Cooling installed the Trane HVAC system in…read moreour house. About 1 1/2 years later the evaporator coil was leaking and had to be replaced. That was done under warranty but still cost us over $700 in labor and freon. About 1 1/2 years later the compressor, expansion valve, and a couple of other parts on the outside unit had to be replaced. Those parts were covered also but again over $700 out of our pockets for labor. They said they would go to Trane to try to recover some labor costs but I never heard anything about that. I was told not to pay the bill until they talked to the Trane warrant rep. So, I didn't pay the bill, as told. I recently received another statement saying we still owed the $700plus in labor costs and then I received a call saying my account was past due. DO NOT use these people. They sell faulty equipment and then won't back it up. 3 years since install of brand new supposedly great Trane equipment and we are out of pocket almost $1500. Oh yeah, within days of moving in in May of 2022 the system didn't seem to be cooling. A tech came out and found that a wire had never been connected on the attic unit. Surely they would catch that when checking out their new installation, you would think.

It literally took a $50 auger and one minute of their time it's not brain surgery it's plumbing. Licking back, I should have just gone out and bought the $50 auger myself which we did after they left Feeling completely foolish for using this company they are very nice to talk to you but somehow I think there is a sliding scale here and when they walk into a house that looks very presentable and clean the rate looking back at it was outrageous It would like seeing a doctor, and I feel like I saw the proctologist. Ashley asked me a series of questions prior to transferring me to Alex in Dispatch. Alex proceeded to ask another series of questions. Then told me a tech would be available next day. This company WILL NOT give you an arrival time or estimated timeframe of arrival. You are at their discretion and required to wait around all day for their call/text. It is now 1618hrs and I've taken the day from work for a possible costly repair and for no tech to call or show. It's sad a company that provides a service can't in return respect possible customers time and give beneficial updates or cancellation notices. I've read the reviews and I'm thankful others with similar experiences have shared who they were able to relay on for guaranteed service.
