We were lucky not to get in an accident. We drove 4 miles to the freeway exit, driving 20 mph. We pulled into a truck stop and realized we had a gaping hole in our tire. We immediately called Triple A. Two hours later, we were still sitting in the car in 28 degree weather with snow on the ground. Triple A was just giving us the runaround and we needed to act fast, because the tire store was closing soon. We called Robert at Deuces Towing, and he arrived in 15 minutes. Not only did the tow truck arrive ( driven by his son) Robert arrived in his OWN vehicle to drive us to the tire store. Talk about 1st Class Service. We are so grateful for this company.

My vehicle became disabled about noon in Gerlach NV. We finally found All Star Towing and Recovery…read moreat around 1:30 and they agreed to tow the truck and trailer back to Reno. They showed up around 9:00 and loaded up the truck on one tow vehicle and attached the trailer to another. During this time another tow company showed up and we sent them away thinking everything was under control. Once the truck and trailer were ready to go, the driver informed us that we would could not ride in either tow vehicle and would instead have to ride in the trailer. I explained that it was against the law to do that in Nevada. He told us we could get in the trailer or stand in the desert. Having no other options, we road in the trailer, along with all the camping gear and without seats or seatbelts for 3 hours. I have filed complaints with both the Nevada Transportation Authority and The Better Business Bureau.

Thankfully, Extreme Towing and Roadside Services came to the rescue! My technician, Troy, was incredible. He was incredibly friendly, personable, and immediately made sure I was okay. He focused on getting me off the busy freeway as quickly and safely as possible and got me straight to my destination. I highly recommend Extreme Towing to anyone in New Mexico! As a side note, a local police officer (or highway patrol) also stopped by while I was waiting. He was so nice and friendly, and he even set out flares behind my vehicle to keep me safe.
