This company came out to do a job on my NEIGHBORS home, they left a mess I had nails all over my…read moredrive way and garbage was blowing all over our street from them, I picked most everything up, but just wanted to ask if they could run a magnet through my rocks ( yes we do occasionally drive on them) I reached out to Silva 4 times before I was contacted back. She was pleasant at first then called me back and told me her worker said he was told by the gentleman here that they did not have to worry about there mess he would take care of it, he didn't want them on his property... 1st off there was no man here ( no one was home at all...) 2nd one of the guys was already on the property picking up the big pieces of trash they let go. She said well he did run his magnet over your driveway, There's NO possible way he did with all the nails that were left and we also have 3 cameras that face our driveway 1 points straight down it one across it and the other the front and the only time it picked anyone up was when he was here picking up the big mess! She did tell me they would be here the next morning between 7-8 am I am still waiting for them but when I called her to ask if there was an eta she blew up on me, was Cussing me out and Hung up on me, Again this was all caught on camera, when I told her I am leaving a review. I contacted him twice. He finally gave me a date & price $200. He set an appointment for the following Wednesday. I told him I had to leave by 4pm. He told me I didn't have to be home because it was outside work. Needless to say.. He didn't show for our appointment. I texted. He said it would be closer to 4. He ended up showing up around 7:30pm. When he got there this time he said I hope this works. Had he said that in the first place I would have just replaced the window!! He was done fast. Added some weather shield. Not sure what he did. Window leaks worse than ever before. Contacted him to let him know. Said he would come out Saturday afternoon to look at it. SHOCKER.. I waited all day at home he never showed. I had a little bit of sticker shock from the first quote so decided this would be worth getting multiple quotes on. And Home Build was one of them due to their stellar Yelp reviews. I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.
