When the job required way more bales of insulation than expected they did not charge us any extra at all. The insulation company that had insulated the attic in our new home had only put in 11" in most of the surface area away from the access panel. That is only R-30. No wonder we were experiencing such fast temperature changes. Since Gale Ins. had quoted that they would bring the attic up to R-60, they stood by there quote and charged us nothing extra.
