Terrible service. Terrible business. Clearly not professional. The pictures speak for themselves...... We have under ground sprinkling, water daily and this is how our yard looks. AAA has completely destroyed our yard. Would give the company zero stars if I could. Have complained to our service guy about the condition of the yard and was ignored. Had AAA for 2 years and the first year things went pretty well. I'm not sure what changed, but this year they completely ruined my lawn. Their "treatments" did absolutely nothing for most of the summer. When we called to complain the next treatment completely killed our lawn. They did blame us for their incompetence and refused any fix or refund. Go ahead and use them if you want the worst lawn on your block. read more

For the past few years, AAA Lawncare has generously donated their time in their off-season to volunteer with Meals on Wheels and deliver meals to our seniors. This past year, they not only covered multiple routes 3 days a week, but they also volunteered in the kitchen making meals, and at one of our dining sites, helping to serve clients there! We also experienced a very busy winter season and needed to pull in the help from AAA to help us assemble emergency meals for our clients, and not only did they eagerly jump in to help, but they also completed record amounts of meals in the time frame that they were here! Our staff is so grateful for the dedication, efficiency, and hard work that these volunteers brought to our program and are so appreciative of their time spent with us. Our Delivery Supervisor, Shelly Smalligan says, "AAA did an amazing job volunteering with us for the entire winter season. They covered 7 delivery routes for us, trayed meals in the HDM room, packed meals on the pack table, packed emergency meals, and served meals at a dining site. Every volunteer in the group came in with a positive attitude and completed tasks without any issues. Our clients loved being visited by these wonderful, kindhearted individuals. We are very thankful for all of their help and we look forward to seeing them next year!" Our clients have also expressed deep gratitude about their volunteer drivers from AAA Lawncare, one client calling us and spending a good 5-10 minutes telling our Delivery and Distribution Manager, Dave Woudstra, that these young people are "star quality", and are "very helpful" and "go the extra mile". She reiterated how wonderful and how polite they are, that they help put food away, and made sure to speak loudly as her husband is hard of hearing. She stated emphatically that they are "very, very good people" and "would trust them to no end". Needless to say, the many volunteers from AAA Lawncare truly made a difference in the lives of our seniors and our staff is eternally grateful for all that they brought to our organization. Horrible experience with this company! Hired to put down fertilizer because we didn't have time to do it ourselves like we usually do. After first treatment, half of our gorgeous yard was ruined! It looked like crop circles of dead grass! We called and discussed with an area manager, Joe Stayhover ( sp?) he apparently came out and looked at our yard, (while we were not home) and called to tell us "not their fault, poor watering coverage from our underground sorinklers". Hmmmm, didn't have the issue before their treatment, but we take the time to call our sprinkler guys, watch them run, check for broken heads, not covering the burned areas Etc, nope. Not too mention, tons of rain during this time as well!). Call Mgr Joe S back, and say "not the sprinklers, had them checked, the burned grass in the circles like your riding spreader may have been over spraying the fertilizer on a fast turn". Joe says it's not from that. Ok Joe, just cancel our service and refund the $104.00 for the treatment, and we'll fix it or hire someone else. Joe decides he's not going to do this. I asked him several times about the "guarantee to have my lawn greener" he said they "guarantee to fix it, not refund the money ". So while Joe is in the area, he says he dropped by and "spread new grass seed in the areas we didn't water adequately". ( again, not home when he apparently did this) Nope, didn't grow back, and in Joe's own words "if the area was burned somehow, the grass won't grow back". Advised Joe, "the grass didn't grow back, so your fix didn't work, it means it was burned". Nope. Won't refund the payment of $104.00. I advise him this is not acceptable per your "guarantee" Joe says "we are one of the biggest Lawncare companies in West Michigan, we know what we're doing". I advise him they probably do know what they are doing, I'm simply saying your spreader seems to have over spread and burned a lot of areas that now need to be thatched, new topsoil and start from scratch. Joe doesn't care. I advise him I will ensure he loses clients in West Michigan and he may no longer get to claim they "are one of the biggest in West Michigan". Joe laughs at me. I hang up on him after telling him what "special" kind of day I hope he has. I hope you are still laughing Joe. Because I'm still pretty mad over this, and I waited a good month before I hit the review page, just to be fair, and not do it because I was mad at the moment, but you know what? I'm still out $104.00, had to thatch, topsoil multiple areas and reseed at additional cost to me on top of what we paid you, so I'm still pretty mad. If you are looking for a Lawncare service in West Michigan to "guarantee the yard is greener or they'll fix it"....this is NOT who you want touching your yard. Thanks a bunch Manager Joe Stayhover. I hope you are still enjoying the rude laughter at a customer who tried to work this out with you, reasonably, when you were quite clearly the cause of our damaged yard. Highly recommend staying away from this company. They won't back up their own guarantee, or refund the payment you made to them when their fix doesn't fix it, and actually cost you a lot more to fix it after they damage it, and totally rude because they think you are only one measly customer. Did not contract with them for 2016, but they still came out for first application and billed me. Their explanation was that it is continual service until cancelled. They said it was normal industry policy, but either way not all industry norms are good business practice. Otherwise their service was satisfactory, I was switching because their pricing was considerably higher. I will not use them again. read more
