Saw one scurrying out the back wall and realized all the access points. I was told the mice were from busy soccer fields across Fir Rd with school starting, someone else was in the unit before me (not true), and other excuses before offered another 10' X 20' unit in an even newer section. Same structure design; same potential problem! I was moved out within 24 hours and found more mouse droppings and candy from somewhere under a shelf! I showed them these posted pixs; no response. They don't accept credit cards, monthly surcharge for autodraft from checking account, Mickey Mouse business operation - even without the rodents included! Perhaps nice people, new units, but FYI for RENTER BEWARE!

Freedom Storage was very nice to work with online and over the phone. The value for what you get can't be beat, a place that could accommodate the "strange" hours we needed and was clean. They brag about customer service but pretty much none exist. I'm locked out 70% of the time I go. I have to spend 20-30 minutes each time with the secondary lock company to try to get in. That's if they are open. After 9pm or before 7am, forget it. They start begging for payment 10 days before it's due. But lock you out after the 1st of the month and will take your stuff after 15 days per Missouri law. How do I know that, they straight up told me that. The locks are electronic so you have no control over when you can access your unit. If their app messes up or their system messes up, you can't get in. Which, is pretty common, more than 50% of the time. Rent somewhere where you can put your own padlock on the door so you have control of your stuff.
