I then went to a shoe shop to soften the heel. They were surprised of how stiff the shoe was. I wrote to Meermin´s customer service to share y experience, sent them a picture, and kindly asked them to get a refund or replacement. They answered me with a template email refusing to refund. If you want quality shoes and want to avoid feet injuries, I would recommend to look elsewhere.

I ended up buying a couple nice tshirts (they ran a little small so had to get a size bigger) and a linen shirt that I've worn twice so far and gotten many compliments both times. Wish I'd bought more stuff while I was there but will definitely look to go to a Zara store whenever I get the chance.

Bought two gorgeous maxi dresses at $25 each. Although the store was very busy, they kept lines moving quickly. Staff was very nice and willing to help. Only thing is that it was quite stuffy in there -- it felt very hot in there with no air flow! I went in October and while it was busy, it wasn't too too crowded. Overall it was pleasant to shop at this Zara location.
