I spent over $125 on a facial and $100 for two products for my birthday, only to find it smelled disgusting and when I looked at it more closely it was expired. From the moment I walked in and tried to return them, the receptionist was aggressive, rude, and interrogating, as if I owed her an explanation. When I mentioned returning the second unopened item (that wasn't "expired"), she treated me even worse. I purchased a Groupon for the eyelash extensions and I first I was very much skeptical because I've done a lot of research and apparently if the person doesn't use the right glue or doesn't put them on correctly your $85-$100 will just go to waste so I put a lot of trust in Lisa and she definitely delivered. My lashes looked so full and natural and that's what I really wanted. I wanted my lashes to not look fake but to still look full and Lisa didn't try to upsell me on getting a more expensive cost package but instead she educated me and said that your lashes will look much fuller with the fill in after two weeks and she was definitely right. I didn't need mascara and she advised me not to use mascara but I love that mascara looks so I put on lights amount of mascara and my lashes never felI I never had to worry about them falling out I work out and I am very active and they lasted a full two weeks with very little pieces falling out overall I would do this Groupon deal again and again and again and again. Just seeing how many people purchased this Groupon from when I first bought it is speaks for itself it would actually be kind of cool if she just implicated these prices on a regular because she does such a great job. there's not that many people who actually know what they're doing.

I think I've only worked with him a handful of times and it was a long time ago, and he still managed to get his fellow healthcare workers a gift card for a relaxing massage or a facial. I thought this was so sweet. I received the gift card a few months back and I completely forgot to use it at the time, but I finally remembered this past week to go. I called the Howell location and told the receptionist that I had a gift card, and that I wasn't really sure specifically what it covered. The receptionist was super nice on the phone, she asked me for the gift card number so she can plug it in and let me know which service was covered for my visit. I had the option of a massage or a facial. She helped me book a massage over the phone. They had a convenient day and time for me available to come. I got there yesterday and the staff were immediately friendly, they greeted me, took my temperature, the sign in was super fast, I just had to do a few signatures on an iPad. I sat down in the waiting area which was socially distanced. Everyone had masks on. I was called in by Angie a few minutes later. She was absolutely incredible. She asked me if there were certain areas I needed worked on during the massage and I told her that I have chronic lower back pain and I asked politely if she could spend more time on that and she did. She left the room so I could get undressed and go on the table, as soon as she came in the room she washed her hands immediately, she wore her mask properly- covering both mouth and nose. I definitely think this is important considering you are in a confined space with someone for an hour. So I was happy to see that she respected that. I asked her if she could apply firm pressure and she said yes and she did. I've only been to one other massage place in New Jersey which was massage envy. I was there in February and the massage therapist did not apply enough pressure for me even though I asked her too, making it an overall unsatisfied visit which led me to not go back. Angie applied the perfect amount of pressure, I even told her that I was going to book an appointment for my husband for him to see her for a massage. I was super happy with my overall visit that I even left with a MEMBERSHIP! The receptionist asked me at check out if I wanted a membership and at first I was hesitant because I know these visits can get expensive but I was very satisfied with my visit and the membership price is a good deal. The receptionist was friendly about it and not pushy, which I appreciate. There's nothing worse than a pushy salesperson! I'm definitely looking forward to coming every single month. I want to share my experience with Enrique as both a masseuse and as the business owner of Face to Face NYC: Enrique gave me the "Ultimate Massage". When I came into the office at the lobby Enrique quickly acknowledged and greeted me. He went to make sure the room as perfect and then came back outside to take me into the room. The room was perfectly lit and air conditioned. He politely gave me time alone to get ready for the table and came back several minutes later to start the massage. The Ultimate Massage: I have never done a deep tissue massage before and so I was not sure what to expect. Enrique delivered in the perfect amount of pressure to apply onto my hard knots both on my back and my shoulders. He started off on my shoulders and upper back and I had such difficult knots on my shoulders it was so painful feeling him loosen them up gradually. But that "pain" was pain of relief and comfort. Enrique did a wonderful job on my neck, shoulders, and back. He then proceeded to the rest of my body: legs, feet, arms, and hands. I had no idea that I had secret hard knots all over my forearm and legs. Enrique used his professionalism and history of his craft by doing techniques that helped to ease up painful knots that has never been touched before; especially in a deep tissue massage. Overall: I felt very relieved and satisfied at the end of my Ultimate Massage that I had asked Enrique if he had time for 30-45 minutes more for a deep tissue massage specifically for my back and shoulders. Unfortunately, he had a next client coming in. I will definitely be coming back to Enrique at Face to Face NYC for a thorough, professional, well done massage as well as try their other offerings.
