949 Lashes - These are the Hybrid Lashes. - Eyelash Service Near Me - Laguna Niguel, California

Found a LivingSocial deal for a lash retouch/ refill on my lash extensions and decided to give 949 Lashes a try. My appointment was with Irene. Do let them know you have a deal because some of the technicians do not take the deal. The lash studio is located at the cul de sac of Forbes Road. The studio is all open so don't expect a private room. You're going to be in there with other ladies chatting it up. They also do spray tans there too. Irene was pretty cordial and talkative. She asked me what I wanted which was to go a little shorter than the lashes I already had on. She was kind enough to remove some of the ones that were growing out and went ahead on replacing them. She was amazed that the lashes I had were C curl since they were starting to straighten out. I guess they straighten out? The whole thing took about 50 minutes and my lashes started to look like normal again instead of looking sparse. Irene's been doing this for 10 years, so she has plenty of experience. My retouch was done over a week ago and they've held up a lot longer than the original set I got at another place. Lash retouches are normally $50. read more

Traci did an amazing job of making me comfy for my first set of lashes. It was a very relaxed environment and she's very easy to talk to. It seemed like not much time passed and I had the most gorgeous, glam lashes ever. And they look so natural, even at this fullness and length. I initially got them for an event but I love them so much, I've already book a fill. Do it. read more

I don't usually wear lashes because I have very sensitive eyes and the glue and/or lashes cause too much irritation. I went to 949 Lashes because I had 8 events that required hair, makeup and formal attire during the month of January. This included a national sales conference 2,000 miles away. I knew that I needed help so I went to 949 Lashes and saw Breanna. She helped me choose the right style and length for my lashes. She worked quickly and I was done in about an hour. I am pleased to report that I just had a fill yesterday (3 weeks after my first appointment) and I have no irritation! The lashes held up well and I received numerous compliments. SOLD!! I would highly recommend the professional services of 949 Lashes and Breanna to look your very best everyday. read more

Irene does an amazing job with eye lashes. I have gone to other lash girls but they did not do a good job on my lashes like Irene did. She is very patient and gentle and the quality of the lashes makes them look and feel better than other lashes out there. I was very very happy with Irene overall. read more

I moved and was trying to find someone closer to my house. I went to Amy, the owner. She did my fill, but it didn't look like what I had and asked for (length, curl, thickness). She put a lot of glue. And she applied lashes in clusters. It ruined my own lashes. The extensions were pulling my lashes. My lashes were falling out a few at a time. When I went back to my lash lady, I had to pay extra to remove them. read more

Kat is my go-to girl for lashes. She knows what she's doing and is great at explaining what she's doing. Upon your first visit she will help you determine what you need/what style of lash you want to go for. She has good judgement of what will work best for you if you aren't sure yourself, but she's also open to trying exactly what you want if you have a picture on hand to show her. She takes her time and it really shows. She's super easy to schedule with and communicate with via text, which makes the whole experience stress-free and easy. Highly recommend scheduling with Kat!! She's so sweet and easy to talk to, but also respects if you'd like to have some quiet time and just relax. You can't go wrong. I believe her Instagram account is @lashedbyykat if you want to check out her work. read more

I've been doing lashes for over 10+ years so I am very knowledgeable & picky about product ie - glue, eyelash quality, technicians skill sets, techniques, etc. It's funny all my eyelash techs have always said that I should do eyelashes myself. If you are planning to come to 949 lashes - ask for Elyse Magness! She's absolutely the best in regards to technique which is very important. She's very knowledgeable, professional & fun. You won't get any glue balls or nail heads in your eyelashes!! She's skilled & experience from natural, classic, dramatic, & volume lashes which you can tell by the way the lashes fan out. You can get cheaper eyelash extensions at other places but you pay for what you get. Elyse's work is worth the price. read more

Wow, wow, wow! I am so grateful for Cynthia. Not only did she give me perfect lashes, she was so helpful after. I had one lash that was bothering me and she had me come in right away to fix it. She was so patient with me in figuring out what was bothering me and did a great job. If you're coming with the Groupon, make sure to bring some extra money if you want a different style than the Groupon offers. Cynthia was so helpful in helping me decide what style I wanted and she was true to her Groupon price. Thanks again Cynthia! I'm definitely coming back for a fill. read more

We called EVERYWHERE looking to get first time lashes and everyone was booked or didn't take walk-ins. Cynthia at 949 was kind enough to do our lashes at a super inconvenient time after hours. She took her time with us, we didn't feel like she was rushing at all. She still is very quick and precise at the same time. I have never had lash extensions and it still feels like i don't because she did such a great job! I made a two week appointment for a fill before i go to NYC next month! It's been two days and my lashes still look and feel amazing! I would definitely recommend Cynthia to anyone looking for lashes. Catherine (Cat) is the greatest! I will never go anywhere else to get my lashes done. She is the best, very professional. She isn't like all the other lash shops that charge you by time increments. I have found my new studio to be coming to! I had an appointment today with Amy and she was amazing! I have never had lash extensions before and she was very thorough with everything she did. We had a mini consultation of what I was looking for in terms of lash look and why I was getting them, and giving me a thorough walk through of everything I should expect during the actual session and post session. I love Amy!! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for new gorgeous lashes! The location was very easy to find and had the best customer service I have experienced in years. I used Sky H. after getting an offer on Groupon and she did a great job! They look amazing and I get so many compliments on them. Will definitely be back. Thank you for transforming my look! Update-after almost 3 weeks, they are still on! Definitely going back to sky! Update- Came back for a fill and didn't get the same treatment. They started falling out in clumps after 4 days. It's been 8 days and my lashes look absolutely horrible. Messaged Sky, but she didn't seem interested in making it right. She told me I could come back for a $30, 30 min touch up. Very disappointing because I was looking forward to using her in the future. I left a great review for her and told lots of people. Sorry I did that. I will be using someone else in the future. read more

I went to Kat and I had never gotten lash extensions before because I didn't want to spend money on lashes when I normally just wear fake lashes when I go out. I thought I would try something different. I put these lashes through everything you shouldn't with lots of sweat and tears, sleeping on my face, wearing eyeshadow and primer, touching them excessively, and accidently rubbing them a lot. They've stayed on so well and look pretty much as good as when I got them done. They make getting ready so much easier and I normally don't like to wear natural makeup but with these it looks great and I feel great! It's been a week since I went and I'm so pleased with the results. I will definitely be coming back for a fill. Kat has me addicted! read more

I've NEVER got lash extensions before so of course I decided with help from GROUPON to come here!! IRENE is her name and SHE IS AMAZING! She makes you feel at home and relaxed cause let me tell you... I wasn't sure what to expect. She talks to you and keeps you posted with what she is doing. She is definitely skilled at her craft and actually through conversation with her I found our she has been doing it for 8 years and counting :) I got my lashes about 2 and half weeks ago and they are still ON STRONG and I still get compliments on NOT JUST MY LASHES but MY EYES :) Before IRENE I had short lashes you could barely see without mascara... now with the magical touch of IRENE my eyes actually POP! I chose to get them between natural and glamorous. And she did just that. I don't even need eye make up anymore and for someone who is always on the go it made my life super easy! I believe a full set is $100 and fills are only $50 and I'm definitely coming back!!!! TIPS UPON ARRIVAL: 1. Make sure you come showered because it's recommended you don't wet your face/lashes for 24hours to help set the glue. 2. Make sure your face is nice and clean and clear of make-up 3. If you take hot-yoga like I do you shouldn't do it for a few days after getting it. I personally waited a week and wore a head-band and they're still on :) read more

My eyelashes are still pretty full and not that many have fallen out in so happy with the service from Irene!!!! I don't know why people have left anything less then a four star or have complained of eyelashes falling out. I believe it's because they don't properly take care of them I have followed her instructions and have been very careful when washing face and touching them because they are delicate so just be mindful of your extensions and follow her directions I got them on February 7th and it's now the evening of February 21st and I'm just going to get a touch up in the next week hopefully but super happy!!!! read more

Irene is an amazing beautician and seems to be a really genuine and good hearted person as well. I got a Groupon for lashes and of course, I waited until the month before it expired to schedule an appointment with her but she was booked until that day. Because she is so nice she said she was honoring all groupons SCHEDULED by the expiration date so I was one happy lady! I walked in and she asked me exactly what I wanted, something short because my eyelashes were already long but I wanted lashes that made me not have to wear mascara for thickness. And she delivered just that. We had a great conversation which made me feel very relaxed and when I opened my eyes, they were exactly like I wanted them to be! Just like others had said, go in without any eye makeup on and make sure you get there on time since she is pretty popular and has appointments one right after the other. It's been a little over a week and they still look great! Thanks Irene! read more

Please do your self a favor and avoid making an appointment with Kat . She's rude and dishonest and apparently is on Groupon, but hates taking Groupon appointments . She redeemed my voucher without me even so much as meeting her and it was for a set and a refill . I was stuck getting my hair done and the appointment went way over . She refused to reschedule. and make passive aggressive comments. I would of expected a cancellation fee but not the whole price of the Groupon. Especially for a lash set and a refill . Thankfully Groupon was able to help me and refund my money. read more
