When the girl came out she was very eager, excited and motivated. She was telling me how great the company was and how they were new and going to work hard to please. I explained that my house was already kept very clean by my husband (he works from home and he's very tidy), but that he did not dust or mop so that was what I was hiring them for and these 2 things were very important. I walked her around the house and showed her what I meant by that and pointed many things out. I explained that I did not want a company that would just throw the dust around with a feather duster and that I needed things to be wiped down and dusted well. I explained that this is the main area of concentration and the bathrooms and everything were already kept clean by us. She agreed about the duster and said they don't use those because it just throws the dust around. She was really understanding about what I was saying. I must have explained the importance of dusting to her about 6 times at least. So she begins in the back of the house (master). 9am. Started in the bathroom and worked her way towards the front of the house. She was really working hard. We were home with company at the time. She had been there about an hour and we were running out to get breakfast to get out of her way. I let her know that we would be back in a bit so that she wasn't trying to clean around a bunch of people. I paid her in cash, $150, with tip and we left the house around 10:15. At the restaurant I could see her walking out of the house around 11:30 on my lanai camera. I was talking to my friend about how we thought it was crazy that she could be done so fast. She was at my house for only 3 hours. I have a 2200 sq ft home. When I clean by myself it takes me at least 6 hours. When we returned, I immediately started looking around to see what had been done. I rubbed my hand along the kitchen counter under my cookbook stand where I know my husband doesn't clean (I'm a nurse and work many long hours and he works from home so he's the main cleaner) it was full of dust. The stove was wiped down but not scrubbed. She did not vacuum under the sofas. She did not mop. She wiped the front of the stainless steel fridge with a greasy rag that left streaks all over it. The coffee area was filthy with coffee splatters all , SHE DID NOT DUST my house AT ALL! I took many videos and sent them to the company. They fired her on the spot and said they do not tolerate this and said they would send out another cleaner. They said they would take the payment from her. I asked if my tip would be given to the new girl and they said no. So great, now I have to pay 2 people. A new girl shows up and I walked her around the house. I explained to her again how important it was that the house was dusted and that I was shocked the other girl didn't do it after my long explanation. I asked her if they were supposed to be wiping down dusty items because the first girl didn't even dust the items on the counter. I showed her a plate (the one in the pic) and she said they do not because they don't want to be liable for breaking anything. Wtf! So the company doesn't allow their staff to touch anything? How is it expected to get cleaned? Ridiculous!! I showed her the guest bathroom that was not even wiped down at all. The dust in the living room and bedrooms. I went outside with our company and left her to clean. (Family from Colorado was visiting so we were busy entertaining) she was in there an hour, she came out and I handed her $40 and she left.Yes, I stupidly paid her again before checking, but I was very busy with our guests. After a while I went inside and I see that she ONLY wiped down the areas that I pointed too. Even though I was only showing her and explaining that they weren't wiped down. I had let her know that the ENTIRE HOUSE was not dusted. But still, she only did those few things I pointed out. What a complete waste of $200. They only surface clean things. Don't expect a good clean from these girls. They don't dust. They don't vacuum UNDER anything..only around things. If anything, this company should have given me a full refund. They should have sent a manager out. I will include pics of my house so u can see how clean we already keep it. All I wanted was a GOOD DUSTING AND MOPPING!!! 2 girls came out and I still had to waste my day off doing it myself. Edited to include screen shots of the texts since I can't reply, and she is lying! (Sorry they wouldn't post in order) I never propositioned them to work for me outside of the company. Why would I when they didn't do a good job to begin with? I think they have me confused with another unhappy customer. And I never told Taylor I wanted her back, I said "IF" i have her back.
