On May 2, 2026, I visited for a car wash and was told by an attendant that if I purchased a $30 wash that day, I would receive unlimited washes for the next month at no additional cost. The attendant assured me there was no catch, no commitment, and never stated that I was being enrolled in a recurring membership or that future charges would be automatically billed to my account. Because of that explanation, I agreed. I was never informed that I was being enrolled in a recurring membership, nor did I knowingly sign any paperwork authorizing future charges. A month later, I noticed a $50 charge from Tidal Wave Auto Spa on my account. When I contacted customer service, I was told they had a receipt with my signature showing that I had enrolled in a membership plan. I requested a copy of the receipt, and when it was emailed to me, I did not see my signature or initials on the document. I called back to explain my concerns, but I was unable to get any meaningful assistance or a refund. What disappoints me most is that I likely would have considered signing up for a membership had it been presented honestly and clearly. Instead, I was charged for a plan that I did not believe I had agreed to. I truly enjoyed this car wash and had been a loyal customer, which makes this experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, because of how this situation was handled, I will not be returning.

He was rude, dismissive, and hostile, and refused to provide a Certificate of Insurance or basic ownership information, including contact details for the owner, John Perez. Refusing to provide insurance information after documented on-site vehicle damage is deeply concerning and unacceptable for any business, especially one operating heavy machinery on customer property. To be clear: * The damage occurred during their car wash * It was reported immediately * Management refused transparency * Insurance information was withheld I am formally pursuing this matter and will be escalating it through all appropriate legal and regulatory channels. While waiting, I noticed several customers ahead of me complaining about the quality of their washes. At first, I assumed they were just being overly picky. Then my truck came through. The truck was still dusty and dirty, which made it appear that little or no water had been used during the wash. The tires had been dressed with tire shine, but the truck itself was far from clean. Even worse, whatever chemical was sprayed on the vehicle appears to have been applied while the truck was hot. It left white streaks and stains on the paint and, more significantly, on my Retrax bed cover. I immediately tried washing the truck myself when I got home. I was able to remove most of the residue from the painted surfaces, but the stains on the bed cover would not come off. For a business that advertises professional hand washing, this is completely unacceptable--especially on a new vehicle. After nearly nine years as a customer, this experience has cost Kwik Kar my business. I will now be seeking professional help to restore my bed cover and will likely have to pay out of pocket for damage that occurred during what should have been a routine wash. I sincerely hope management addresses the quality issues, because based on what I witnessed from other customers that day, my experience was not an isolated incident.
