Matcha was good and service was quick. The server behind the counter was chatty but got the job done. Nice pastry case.
For an airport coffee spot, this place was a pleasant surprise. Prices were decent considering the usual airport markup. I grabbed a muffin that was really good, I'd definitely get it again if I'm ever back in that terminal. Make sure to ask to get your baked goods heated up, it makes a big difference! I also had an egg muffin, which was fine, nothing special but did the job. Service was quick and efficient, and the food came out relatively fast. Fine fast spot to catch a bite between flights.
This 8th & Roast is a great addition to Concourse D, sitting right across from gate D1. It's convenient on the way in our out of BNA. I used to find myself fighting the traffic in Concourse C to enjoy 8th & Roast, but now I can enjoy a good cold brew in the slower paced Concourse D! Space is good sized, clean, well lit and well kept. It flows well from order to pickup. My go to at 8th & Roast is the cold brew with almond milk and SF syrup, usually mocha. This location had limited SF options, so I went with vanilla, and it was still tasty. Service was welcoming, friendly and expedient. Overall, love this location in D. Certainly will be my go to coffee spot at BNA!
Ordered a simple black iced coffee and the cashier couldn't understand me, kept pushing other options, and eventually I gave up. Seconds later she made the exact same drink for the man behind me with zero issues. Hard not to notice. The egg and cheese croissant was poor quality, stale, and inedible. Not worth the airport markup. This place calls itself the best coffee in Nashville. Better quality at the Burger King next door.
Big selection of baked goods which is a positive. However, server was rude and coffee was not that great. A big pass for me next time on this location. Please come and create your own adventure.
On an ugly rainy day at BNA, I needed a coffee to get through the day. 8th and Roast fit the bill as the line was short. I ordered a large hot mocha and it wasn't a Starbucks large, but was hot (almost too hot) and good. Wasn't the best mocha ever but it did the job. This may have been the only coffee option in the D Terminal. Although based on reviews, this "chain" may be scattered throughout the Nashville Airport. I'd assume the coffee is the same at each one though... or it depends on the barista.
Excellent coffee, can't speak to the food. Iced vanilla latte was delish. Friendly service. Great pick me up for a long layover.
The food was not bad, but it was pricey and I will say it tasted better than it looked. I think we paid around $7 for this. I got the cold brew and it was ok, but I did feel like it was watered down so I didn't love the taste. There were other items like sandwiches, bottled drinks, and pastry items. However, the guy taking orders and doing bakery/heating up food was super nice. The service was quick so that's a plus.
Did not like the server scratching down there before he took my order and made my food. Gross. Paid almost $8 for a sad looking sausage and egg sandwich on croissant.
Quick spot at the airport in concourse D. They offered light and dark roast for drip coffee and I got the dark roast coffee but it tasted like water and I was surprised because this was supposed to be the darker taste. I should've known because now I see other reviews say it's watery and did not taste like anything. I got the blueberry bagel and they were kind enough to toast it for me and I put cream cheese on it. The staff was nice, but the food and drinks are a pass.
Such a great coffee spot in Nashville! The coffee was excellent, the atmosphere was super inviting, and the whole place had that perfect Nashville vibe. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and it was a great place to slow down and enjoy a really good cup of coffee. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in Nashville. I'll be back! read more
Not bad for airport coffee but still wouldn't come back. I think I prefer a chain instead that I know will be consistent and usually quick. The service wasn't great, the cashier seemed like he'd rather be anywhere but taking orders. He was extremely soft spoken and was getting frustrated when I asked him to repeat himself. The coffee was okay, I got a half sweet vanilla latte and I still felt like it was too sweet. The pasties looked good, but I stuck with just coffee. read more

Line moved pretty quickly. Ordered a sausage, egg, & cheese breakfast sandwich- upgraded to a bagel instead of croissant. Very good; cooked perfectly. Also ordered a cold brew with vanilla- the coffee was just okay as I felt like I could taste the syrup-y taste of the vanilla. Overall, not bad for airport breakfast on the go read more

This coffee shop is located in the D concourse at the Nashville airport. It appeared to be in Southwest Airlines area. I got to the airport really early on a weekday and it was open at 5:30 am. The line was really long but it moved quickly. There's the usual coffee items you would expect to find at a coffee shop. Lattes, drip, etc. They did have alternate milk choices for an $1 up charge. Lattes were acceptable. There's really no place to sit. read more

Went to get a breakfast sandwich at 8th & Roast this morning at the BNA airport. I got a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was fine, good for a quick handheld on-the-go bite. Super quick service and I was in and out in under 3 minutes! Fine vibes too. read more
Worst tasting coffee at any airport in the country. Bitter bitter bitter. Croissant. Stale stale. Stale. Nothing here is fresh. Go somewhere else Take it from a well travelled coffee 'd up pilot. The one pro. Like any coffee. It kept the addict (me) from turning into a complete ass hole. Is that worth / stars......no. Get free coffee on the airplane. It's free. And better. read more

Wanted to grab some coffee near my gate at the Nashville Airport. I'm not particularly picky with coffee, but I like cortados and there was no hint of sweetness which was good. Food is expensive, but probably expected of an airport cafe. The drinks themselves were similar in price to a traditional coffee shop. Service was quick even thought there were several people in line. There were no tables to sit, but they did have a bench like place to stand and drink/eat. read more

This app forces you to put a star, otherwise I wouldn't have given a star at all. During a layover at Nashville airport, my wife ordered me a hot Vanilla latte with 2 shots of espresso. They started making a cold version but my wife corrected them. The employees said she ordered a cold one but they didn't realize that I was on the phone listening. They spoke in a different language and had a little bit of an attitude. My wife brought me the coffee and it was as hot as room temperature. I took a sip and knew that by the time I get halfway it would be cold. I took the coffee back and asked for a microwave. One of the employees stared at me and asked if I wanted a coffee. I explained that my wife just bought it and it's not hot at all. They spoke in a different language and the gentleman working there pointed for me to walk to the side where he made me a fresh cup. I do not recommend going to this coffee shop. It was a long walk that I didn't need to take had they not made my coffee using cold coffee. Horrible experience. read more

I don't think this company has a clue how bad their point-of-sale technology is. Perhaps don't care. But it does surprise me that any business goes so cheap on technology that they just pour away customers. Here's the scene: packed airport returning and two restaurants so packed that they are unavailable. So this place has vending machine sandwiches by the dozens but CAN'T SELL THEM. I had a two hour layover, so I wasn't in a hurry. I think I saw 90% of the customers just abandon the line and leave their stuff. When I got to the counter I saw what was going on. They tried to ring up & scan the customer ahead of me perhaps five times. Kept faulting. Finally it worked. Then it worked on the second try with me. DO NOT GO HERE unless you have all the time in the world and don't mind vending machine snacks/sandwiches. And if you are the owners, do a bit of an ROI and actually watch your customers. read more
The only coffee spot in the D terminal I could find, but they certainly did not disappoint! I was here on a Sunday and it was super crowded. I probably waited in line for around 15-20 minutes, but that was to be expected! I picked up a bottle of water and an oat milk latte and the total was about 9$ before tip. The workers were super friendly and efficient. My latte was literally ready by the time I paid so I was ready to go. People who were ordering food had a bit longer of a wait. The latte itself was ok, the oat milk was pretty sweet (not my favorite, personally) so if I go back I would probably just get a black coffee! read more
