We're so happy for this hidden gem located in the SFV which was recommended to us! We were hosting korean BBQ at home and decided to check this place out. The quality of meat here is really good and comparable to those at Hmart in Ktown. We picked up a variety of both marinated and non-marinated meat including beef short rib, brisket, bulgogi, beef belly, pork belly, spicy pork, and chicken. There are a selection of sides and dipping sauces including kimchi, lettuce, shredded cabbage, sesame leaves, sliced green onions (which we mixed in with our salads), rice paper, and their homemade dressing which tasted similar to Daikokuya's, and ssamjang :) We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place. They are located in the plaza northwest of Devonshire St. and Mason Ave with plenty of parking spots.

What a bounty of delicious delicious meat choices, esp if are into Korean meat. I got the boneless marinated ribs and came out to $28.15 for more than a pound. Can't wait to make it! Friendly owners.

The meat here is top notch! I'm basic and always go for the bulgogi, but the rest of my family gets the fancier cuts and love it. The dipping sauces are also excellent.

"Mille-Feuille Nabe." Friendly note, it has perilla leaf in it. The leaf will add a mint/anise flavor to the the dish. I cooked it with a package of Shin Ramyun; mushrooms and some green onions. The meat cooked well, & everything was tender. Mom also really enjoyed the dipping sauce, she used it for her spring rolls. I also brought in my neighbor and she pointed out Pork ingredients her mom likes to use for Pozole.

If you love Korean bbq then this is a must. Buy the meat here and cook at home. Get better quality meat and save some money. Sorry no pics of the cooked meat as it is in my belly. They just opened so show them some love. I stopped by today and got some brisket and pork belly. They were very good quality and the prices are reasonable. Don't buy from the market and buy directly from them. I can't wait to try all the other meat selections. They are located right next to Roundtable Pizza. Highly recommend!

The owner was really friendly and gave me a lot of recommendations on what meat went well with KBBQ. He definitely knew the meat cuts really well. The meat was super yummy and I highly recommend the skirt steak and pork belly here as it was tasted very fresh. Also this shop carries rice paper which is something that is not usually carried by most Korean supermarkets. Would definitely recommend if you live in the valley and want to do KBBQ at home!

They prepare food fresh on the spot for you in the back corner. Note it is strictly to-go, no dine in options. The gentlemen in the store were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to answer our questions about how they prepare their fresh meats on the grill. Many, many thanks for the grilling demo! The marinated meats available all displayed in the case and they pull straight from there, it's fresh and made to order. We decided on a plate of chicken breast and a plate of beef lule (ground beef kabob). After placing our order, we had some time to browse the groceries and imported goods in the store. You'll find a wide variety of Middle Eastern and European goods. We picked out some imported Italian and Russian snacks as well as some lavash bread to eat with hummus at home. At home, we feasted! The meats are marinated and seasoned to perfection, tender and flavorful. The guys even cooked up a few pieces of pork ribs for us to try. And let me say, we may have to get a plate of just those next time!! The plate comes with salad (tomato, cucumber, dill, onion), hummus, lavash and rice. Don't sleep on their garlic sauce, that stuff is potent and HEAVENLY. Portion sizes are large and shareable in my opinion and prices are reasonable for the amount, and more importantly, the quality, of food you're getting. I wish I had some pictures but we inhaled our food before thinking about. Next time!

So I wanted to have a few friends come over with their kids on Sunday so they could play and we could watch football. I decided to hop on the grill, grab some drinks and make it a fun little day for everyone. I checked to see if my normal butcher spot was open but to my surprise it was permanently shut down. So I decided to look for a place nearby and came across Danny's Fresh Meat produce right around the corner from me. So I hop in the car and head over! It's in the same parking lot as Salsa and Beer so finding a park is always tough especially on a weekend. That parking lot is a nightmare but once you get a park it's all good. I walked in and it's a very small shop with a cashier in the front, two small isles of produce and meat in the back. It seems like it's all locals because everyone was talking to, who I assume was Danny, in the back working with the guys cutting up the meat. When it came to my turn, I told him I'd never been here so he explained what they do, how they cut the meat, the type of meats they have and that he's been there for 30 years! He is an extremely nice and helpful Armenian guy who has completely won me over. There are a few local places I love supporting in my community and he'll definitely be one of them. The place was very clean and organized. There wasn't a lot of produce but just enough to get your essentials. As for the meat, I picked up a pound and a half of beef loin tenderloin steak at $25.99 a pound and two pounds of marinated chicken breast cut in half's. He told me the steak would melt in my mouth and he told no lies!! The steak was so tender and everyone was asking where I got it from. He made sure to let me know he can slice it up any which way I needed it to be. Overall, Danny's is the perfect spot to grab some local produce and meat if you want to support your local businesses. It always feels good helping out people in your community. Beware of the parking though. 5 out of 5 Afros OOOOO

I ordered flank steak, who doesn't like carne asada and they will marinade it for you. Its perfectly cut by hand to a thin cut of beef, the real Mexican carne asada, the kind I grew up with. I also ordered chuletas de pollo. Chicken cutlets. Its breast meat cut thinly. Who needs to pound the hell out of the meat when its perfectly thinly cut. This way when you place it on the grill it cooks evenly. They marinade it for me as well. Both meats were so good. My daughter is so picky when eating chicken and she loved this. Won't eat it from anywhere else anymore. They also have other cuts of meat that you don't usually see at your regular grocery stores like Cecina. Cecina I only get to enjoy when I go visit my grandmother in Mexico. They make tons of it in her city and ship it to different locations so I get my fair share of it when Im there but here in the states if you find it, it wont be the same. This meat is super thin, almost see thru, a bit salted, and oiled since its so lean. You basically heat it up on a griddle (for us it's a comal) for literally a min or you can leave it a bit longer and it'll crisp up and have a kind of beef jerky consistency. But oh soooo good. Oh you need to get a few avocados from here. They are huge and perfectly ripe. You wont be disappointed. Its worth checking out. Please support our local small businesses.
