The kids were in the bounce house when our lovely face painter artist arrived and I was busy getting the food out to the guests so my husband hollered into the bounce house "the face painter is here." All of the kids came pouring out of the bounce house, squealing with delight to get their faces painted. I highly recommend Doodle Faces for your next event. The artwork is fantastic! The price is great for the quality of work and the level of professionalism. It's not easy dealing with 16 kids who all want to be the first one! Afshan helped me design the perfect bridal henna from my reference photos that perfectly complemented my different looks. She and her mother were incredibly accommodating and it was such a joy to talk with them while they were working. Both artists did incredible designs and all of our guests raved about the designs and the entire experience. The kids especially loved getting swords and flowers. We used Henna Me Beautiful to do henna for our families the day before the wedding and brought them back so they could work with guests during our Sangeet. Both experiences were truly lovely.

She not only did my designs but also then came the next day to do close family, and then she and her mother came to our garba-raas to provide designs for the majority of our guests! Afshan is so down to earth, honest, and creative. I am not your typical indian bride and I preferred more simple design with lots of negative space- she was very understanding and provided me with exactly what i was looking for. My aunts were super impressed with her ability to create masterpieces with speed without having to compromise on design. She brought a board with aftercare instructions for our friends who had not had it before. She was so sweet, and we had so much fun together! (total of 3 days of mehndi services!). She knew exactly how to time out the mehndi so that the stain was perfect on my wedding day! (we did it four days prior). Cannot thank/recommend her enough! Book her asap!
